"Lovely golf course and breakfast was great but slow. Room was very dated and the bed had a huge dip in the middle. Very outdated and an old TV so couldn't even put on Netflix and relax."

"We booked The Relais Cooden beach via Expedia particularly for its location and spa facilities. We had booked the "Cosy double room" because that was all that was left. On arrival we tried to book spa treatments but there were no available bookings during our three night stay. This was disappointing as there was no mention on the Expedia website that you needed to book in advance. Apparently, guests who booked directly with the hotel enjoyed free use of the spa whereas booking through Expedia...

"Staff were very helpful and the breakfasts were good, catering for those with allergies. Lovely quiet hotel with good sized rooms. Good location for exploring other places nearby."

"The spa is the only thing that saves this hotel as without it it would be a very poor hotel. Rooms are very dated, our bed was like a camp bed very uncomfortable. Breakfast in Sage took an hour to be served and it wasn’t even busy. Give staying guests at least the option to go get yoghurt and pastries etc. while they wait for the breakfast cooked meal, having to wait for everything to be served is really old hat these days. "Pretty run down. We spent a few hours there. Got at 1:30 at night. Got room with only 1 bed (4 people). They were nice and fixed the problem in 10 min. EV charger obsolete, could not plug my Tesla. Very old Tesla charger. Other charger required some network membership. Not great. Good I had enough charge to make it to the channel tunnel. But this increased our trip next day in 45'"
