"Everything was perfect"

"We had the most wonderful stay. Our room was beautiful and the big bath was a perfect treat! Also , the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Meals were delicious and the staff were courteous and friendly. We are already planning a longer stay in this really lovely hotel."

"The staff were all wonderful and helpful . It was 36c+ . The building is an old historic property with newly refurbished bedrooms . A fan was in the room to help with the heat . Small but comfortable with a lovely bathroom. My room faced the front and with the heat I needed my window open . The property is by the traffic lights so if you are traffic averse , ask for a rear room . Breakfast is continental but you can pay extra for a cooked breakfast, but not on Sundays . Room for 3 cars to park...

"Lovely hotel, restaurant, bar, in an excellent location for shopping etc in Rye. Very good value for money. There is no free car parking but the pay & display/RINGO is immediately next door and less than a tenner a day. We can highly recommend this hotel."

"Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. "Lovely Hotel at the top of Rye close to the church and the castle. Staff were friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent with a large choice of items from continental and cooked food avaliiable plus hot drinks or juices.Our room was clean and comfortable perfect for our long weekend stay. I would highly recommend this Hotel."

"Lovely golf course and breakfast was great but slow. Room was very dated and the bed had a huge dip in the middle. Very outdated and an old TV so couldn't even put on Netflix and relax."
