This picturesque village is surrounded by ancient walls and has winding, cobblestone alleys lined with unique stores, an indoor market selling locally sourced goods, cosy tea houses, and tantalising eateries. A world-renowned triathlon takes place in Tenby in the middle of September, but the competitors don't have time to enjoy the nearly three miles of beautiful, Blue Flag-awarded beaches or the native flora and fauna along the coastal pathways. Caldey Island is a must-see if you're in the area, and the best way to get there is by boat, where you can also see seals and puffins. Visit the surrounding resort towns of Saundersfoot and Manobier, or check out the spectacular Tudor Merchant's House.
