"This was the perfect hotel for me and my teenaged son. We were close to a lot of the sites I wanted to see and a quick bus ride from the heart of Kyoto that he wanted to experience. The hotel itself was charming and spacious. Especially after spending a few days in Tokyo, the room felt massive. Two double beds, a living area with TV, separate WC and separate tub/shower. The staff was enthusiastic and cheerful. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Superb hotel!"

"Gion Elite Terrace is a great homebase in Kyoto. The hotel is clean, the rooms are incredibly well designed, with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, and more. The only downside (which is a larger issue with Kyoto in general) is that the property does not have much authentic Japanese charm or feel because it is largely (75%+) American tourists and staff are perfectly bilingual (a plus, but also a bit disorienting). "Empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung in der Nähe des Kiyomizu-dera. Sehr durchdachte Einrichtung. Nach Gion Zentrum 15 Minuten Fußweg. Steile Stufen ins 1. Geschoss ( Schlafzimmer und Tatami-Raum). Sehr schöner Miniaturgarten vor dem Badezimmer. Klimatisierung in jedem Raum. Die Wohnung macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Wir haben dort zwei schöne Wochen verbracht."
