  • Just outside of the Paso Robles AVA, this vacation rental is part of the historical Asuncion ranch. The property has been preserved to retain its' historical use. This home is ready to entertain with a fully stocked kitchen, Santa Maria style grill, firepit with seating, pool, hot tub, and living room with projector and home theater. The home offers four bedrooms, with the configuration of three traditional bedrooms and one bunkroom. The owners' bedroom has ocean views. The other bedrooms have hillside and garden views. The living room features a 4K projector, home theater, piano, and fireplace with a dedicated siting area.

This place was exactly what we needed, a gorgeous relaxing and fun place for the family to spend a long weekend before school started. The pool was the highlight, but everything about the house was great. Honestly, we rarely book the same place on VRBO, but I think in this case we will be coming back!

The most amazing place

This is the most amazing place that my wife and I have ever stayed. We’ve been to dozens of vacation spots, but if you want to recharge your batteries, commune with nature, and enjoy the most peaceful place on the planet, this is it. we definitely will be coming back here many times.

Nice place for family gathering

Family getaway

A bit of a drive to get there but if you’re looking for privacy and seclusion with AMAZING views, this is your house. Clean and very well stocked. Enjoyed time with family.

Wonderful property & host

Nick's home was truly breathtaking! The views are spectacular and even better than advertised. The place was beautiful inside and out with lovely gardens and property. Very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for! We truly enjoyed our stay and our communication with Nick was fantastic. We hope to be back some day and would highly recommend!

Gorgeous Stay!

We loved everything about this home and the property! It was well-described in the listing and still exceeded our expectations! Communication with property manager was quick and clear. Kitchen equipment was great for our group. There are lots of places to be on one's own, and plenty of space for all to gather together to play games and share meals.

Amazing getaway

We had a magical weekend under the sun in the pool, under the sky by the fire, and relaxing with the incredible view of the hills and ocean. Central coast and all it has to offered is very accessible but the ranch is remote and peaceful. Best of all worlds. And the beds were very comfortable too.

Dream House

Our stay was perfect. Nicholoas was extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. The house is beyond beautiful and comfortable and was super well stocked! Although the property was the most amazing part with insane views and cows mooing to wake you in the morning. It is tucked back a little far into the mountains but totally worth the extra drive. Hoping to come back for another stay!

Peace and quiet with a great view

Just recently got back from a stay at this property. Had high expectations and they were exceeded. Nick, the owner, was refreshingly responsive, and made sure our stay went without a hitch. Incredible views

We are frequent visitors to the Paso area, and this was one of our favorite experiences. House was fully stocked with all the amenities you need. Incredible sunrise, sunset, and overall views. The house is isolated, so very quiet and peaceful. Expect about a 20 minute drive from Highway 101 to the house.

Our family needed a reset vacation and this home definitely hit the mark. We were able to relax in peace and quiet with no one else around. Such a beautiful home and the property was amazing! We walked along the streams , we went swimming in the heated pool, enjoyed the spa, worked on puzzles, built fires, watched movies. And the views were breathtaking!Nick, the host was always available and very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be revisiting again!

Incredible home and view!

The drive to the house was a bit challenging in the dark, but the morning brought the most incredible view of the rolling hills and the ocean. The home’s interior was exquisite! Spacious rooms, incredible kitchen and even a quarter-grand piano!!

Beautiful property and home!

The home is beyond lovely. Breathtaking views, beautiful garden, comfortable. Only negatives were house listed as 4 bedrooms yet one was not available and filled storage items. The pool was not cleaned prior to our arrival. I would gladly stay again as the home and views really are amazing!

Family Vacation

This was one of the most amazing properties we have ever stayed at. The home and the property was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The views were outstanding. Our entire family enjoyed the pool, the hot tub and even a night in for a homemade dinner and an evening of cards. It has everything you need and is still only a short drive from restaurants, beaches and shopping. We also met the caretaker and he was wonderful and kind and just a call away. And Nicholas was so responsive and provided info on everything we needed to make the stay easy and relaxing. We would stay again and would recommend to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

What a Gem!

This stunning property was perfect for our group of 8 which included 2 grandchildren. The kids enjoyed the warm, clean pool for most of our time there. The views are not to be believed! We were welcomed by “Norman”…the name the kids gave to the cow that greeted us upon on arrival.. They loved that! Everything was clean, in good working order except for some of the dead bolts on the doors. This is truly a special place and we hope to return next year. Thanks, Nick

Fantastic short stay at this beautiful property

This property is absolutely stunning - even the beautiful photos cannot do it justice. The view over the rolling green hills to the ocean is breathtaking, especially at sunset. The property was clean and everything worked perfectly. The huge pull-down screen for watching films was a big hit with the children. Nick was a very responsive owner and even sent someone within half an hour to help us get the projector working (us being inept unfortunately!). We thought we would tour the area... we just sat by the pool and enjoyed the amazing property instead!

Incredible all around!

The ranch is magical and perfection, from the rolling hills scattered with cows to the views for miles. The house is beautiful with nice antique furniture, huge ceilings, plenty of room for gathering or peace and quiet. The house has everything needed for cooking which was really convenient to have access to blender, steamer, and plenty of dishes for a large group. The kids room even has stuffed animals and books for kids, they loved it! Pool toys were a huge help too. We brought most things we needed with us, but next time we will pack lighter! Can't say enough good things about this place and the immense gratitude for sharing the ranch with our group!
