Serenity awaits at this 5 acre property in the hills of Temecula Wine Country with breathtaking 360-degree, million-dollar views from this beautiful property. Live so close, but feel so far from it all in this beautiful 4 bedroom/2.5 bath private retreat, completely surrounded with vinyl fencing and atmosphere lighting, landscaping, and irrigation throughout the grounds. Located in the equestrian community of Spanish Hills Ranchos. A gorgeous 20-foot iron and mahogany electric security gate welcomes you up the concrete paved roundabout driveway, past the detached 2-car garage, and up the gently sloping hill to the home on a permanent foundation. Enter through a formal entryway and into a spacious open floor plan with lots of natural light, a generously large inviting family room, formal dining room, and rustic, wine country-inspired kitchen. Retreat in style in the expansive master bedroom suite with views of your own canyon! Large master bathroom with separate soaker tub and shower and walk-in closet. End your day enjoying a glass of wine while relaxing in the outdoor new deck, patio, firepit, bbq and taking in the magnificent mountain views!

This house is next door to Serenity #2 house. If guests have 20-25 people, guests can rent both houses together. Please contact us so we can work out details.

We had a great time connecting over movies, board games and the fire pit outside! Wished the jacuzzi worked. (The water was low and cold). Overall, we had a great time! The kitchen was stocked, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of blankets to cuddle up with.

I stay at rental properties all the time and this was by far one of the more disappointing stays. The pictures look far better than the property. It is fairly worn down and in need of some TLC. Outdoor furniture was ripped and falling apart. Hot tub had a couple of dead salamanders in it (It is only covered by a solar cover so no protection from animals to get in it). Tons of flower pots outside - all with dead flowers. Inside was fine. Ant issue in the kitchen. Some of the tv’s didn’t work. Ceiling fans in a couple of the bedrooms didn’t work. Only 2 of the bathrooms had hot water. The place sleeps 8 but they have a single use Keurig. Inside could have been a little cleaner. There is a 1.9 mile drive on a pretty roughy dirt road to get to the house. The beds were comfortable so that was a plus. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

Nice but not great

This house was very nice and in a very good location to the wineries we visited, however it could use some deep cleaning. The kitchen utensils and cooking pans especially - we had to rewash several things before using them. The layout of the house is nice and all of the rooms are nicely appointed with the exception of the small room off the living room area, it was rather spartan and the outlets did not always work - zapped my phone charger once. We didn't use the spa but it seemed nice, though old towels from previous guests were left strewn about. We did try using the fire pit, but there were no directions and we could not get it to work. Furnishing were nice, but one dining room chair had a broken leg. The landscaping was pretty and the flowers smelled really nice. There is a good bit of dirt road up to the house and it's not that well graded in a few areas (washboard), so be aware of that. We did have to kill several mosquitos and a couple of spiders in the house. OVerall, it was nice it just needs some care and attention.

Weekend Getaway

The property was beautiful, and the house was well equipped for cooking, relaxing, and enjoying our weekend. It was spacious, and we enjoyed our stay. I wish the listing had noted that you have to drive on 2 miles of dirt road to reach the property and that the 4th bedroom had trundle bed under the full sized bed and not a stand alone twin.

Christmas family gathering

We had a lovely time at Christmas at the Temecula property. The property was spacious and had nice views. The rooms were large and the kitchen and family room were great for a family gathering. The dirt road to get to the property was a bit challenging, but worth it.

A Little Remote but Comfortable!

Comfortable house and super clean. Perfect for a group of people looking for a quiet and relaxing time. To get to the house you have to drive on dirt roads. I am glad we had a SUV. Backyard is super comfortable with plenty of seating options. Hostess responded in a timely manner!

Nice home

Nice home that was large enough to accommodate our 7 person group. Jacuzzi wasn’t working during our stay, which was a bummer. Some areas of the home/backyard could use a little more TLC to make the stay more comfortable. Kitchen was large enough for private chef to comfortably cook dinner in. The home is situated in a neighborhood accessed by dirt road, so would recommend coming and going during daylight hours since visibility could be dark/tough to drive through at night.

Nice Secluded Getaway

Stayes for a girls' bachelorette weekend. Access to the property requires a bit of dirt/ gravel road driving, but the secluded nature is serene and the location is very close to wineries. The host uncovered and heated the hottub before our arrival, which was a nice touch. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, seasoning, tea, and coffee. We didn't encounter any major issues during our stay. We just thought the property could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly (e.g., there was food in the sink strainer and on some of the dishes that had been put away, there was hair in parts of the master bathroom, and there were bottle caps and cigarettes on the deck near the hot tub). We were also confused that the listing states that one of the rooms has a double and a twin bed when we couldn't find that room, but later discovered an inflatable mattress in the master bedroom closet. The outdoor lighting was a lovely touch, and there are plenty of sitting areas outside. The property needs a little TLC and minor fixes that a handyman could likely provide (e.g., master bath door and sliding shower door seemed off track and screen door to outside from one of the bedrooms didn't fully close), but our group enjoy our stay and would stay again in the future.

Short Getaway

We took the second short vacation right before kids’ school started. Overall the property is big and great. The location to our surprise is sort of in the middle of underdevelopment area. It requires to drive on unpaved road for about 10-12 minutes. The reason for such time is that one does not want to drive fast cause it would be really uncomfortable. Especially we have an elder with us. Also, GPS took us to an unfavorable way and my under engine cover was lost due to the constant bumps while driving. We decided to stay in the whole day the second day. Drove about 30 minutes to the area with all the stores and got all the ingredients we need to stay in. There is a fire pit outside and we did marshmallows. The outdoor grill was great for grilling steaks. The air was fresh and without light we enjoyed the full of stars sky at night. The master bedroom has a large tub and we got bath bombs to enjoy it too. The owner supplied over enough coffee capsules that I had like 3-5 cups a day. Overall a great place to stay in.

Great Group Getaway!

Myself and 4 other people did a weekend in Temecula and stayed here. The house was lovely, the rooms clean, and the host was awesome. It's close to wineries, but far enough or that it's quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again if we were going back!

Great secluded place for a family trip

Overall, the property was very nice with several amenities available. Upon arrival we had a few issues, but the property manager was available and in person to make sure everything was corrected immediately. The property is about a mile from the paved road. Everyone was comforable during our stay and we had a great time there.

great country getaway

The house was great and its isolation from the more gentrified areas below was part of its charm. There are no real neighbors and it was quiet and peaceful at night. The downside was the distance to stores and groceries. A few of the amenities were not working, but the owner was going to remedy them after our stay. Overall, it was an ideal place for a retreat from city life and to recharge.

Great for a large family

Beautiful location for our annual Girls' Trip! :-)

Our group of 6 ladies enjoyed this property very much! We cook a lot, so we enjoyed the large kitchen with plenty of cookware. We didn't use the outdoor bbq, but we did use and love all of the outdoor spaces around the property, and the hot tub was wonderful and clean. The beds were also good and comfortable, and the big couch in the living room was great for all of us to sit around to visit. The owner, Ben, is also very nice and responsive, we would work with him again for sure. :-) Lastly - 1 'pro tip' from our group: Definitely do your grocery shopping (there are many grocery stores closer to the freeway) and be stocked before you drive all the way to the property.....though the dirt road leading to the house is doable (at a slower speed), it's no joke and like 2 miles, so it does take a bit of time to come and go from the house. This said, once you get to the house, it is super lovely and our group really did love the beautiful views, landscaping, gorgeous and serene mornings, and the overall privacy. Thank you again to Ben for sharing your beautiful home with our group!

Nice affordable house with great host

Nice house with lots of activities. Only downside is it’s a little bit of a ways from the freeway but close to the wineries. Also is on a dirt road which was no issue if you have a suv or truck. Could be tough for a sedan. Ben is a great host and quick to reply!
