"We were there the first day of the off season so it was very quiet in the village but necessary shops and a few restaurants were still open. We enjoyed it - very peaceful. Enjoyed the hot tub in our building in the evening. Would recommend to anyone interested in visiting Tahoe."

One mile walk into downtown Truckee and 0.5 mile walk to nearest plaza that has a decent Thai and wine restaurant. Short 20 mins drive from Palisades if there's no traffic."
