"Filthy room, my wife wiped the floor in the washroom with a wet wipe and it came up as if I had just wiped my child's bum. There were two tv's one on top of the other yet neither worked. One fan that could not cool an ice cube was in place of air-conditioning with room facing the sun all day. Floors creeked under the carpet and the washroom floor was mushy. Wall has brown stains all over them so much so I couldn't lean against one for a moment. Beds were old and springs that poked you if you...

"The Castle is a little worn around the edges and could do with a refurbishment inside and out - paint, wall coverings, carpets, furniture could all stand a refresh (but this is reflected in the price) Pool was nice but note there is a charge to swim or use the gym, plus a charge for towels We enjoyed the “Full English” breakfast included with our stay, as well as a 3 course dinner during our stay"

"Had such a good stay here room was excellent had everything we needed the breakfast was simply fantastic. There is nothing the owners won’t do to make your stay the best it can be so helpful knowledgeable and just very down to earth nice welcoming people. I can’t recommend it enough as you will have to try it for yourself and you won’t be disappointed."
