"Our room was a corner room. It was a nice size. The side view was an alleyway. The air conditioning would not get below 22. We let them know more than once, but it was never resolved. Room got hot, so we opened the patio door. Loved that there was a parking garage and it didn’t cost extra to park. That was made up for with all the Calgary fees and taxes. Very basic continental breakfast, but it was nice to come downstairs for coffee. There was no gym, we would have had to go to another hotel....

"First time at this hotel. The room was fabulous. 11th floor. No street noise. Aircon was easy to adjust. The bed and linen were top quality Gym on the 12th floor with floor to ceiling windows. Several private zones so not just a big room. Washroom facilities good. A couple of improvements would be to have a few more elliptical machines and bottled water. There was a water fountain. Very central location. Would definitely stay here again"

"I liked the location as it was close to the C train so easy to get around the city where I needed to go. The building was very quiet and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was OK, toast was cold and the oatmeal had what looked like peanut butter and jam on top that was not very appetizing, otherwise the coffee and service was excellent."

"Hotel looked new. Nice rooms and lovely restaurant. Great breakfast included. Was great for an overnight stay in Calgary. Neighborhood was a little on the iffy side but for 1 night it served its purpose. Less than half hour from the airport."

"Beautifully designed hotel by the river very close to the National Music Centre. Very good Japanese restaurant on the premises - but only open for dinner (and it’s expensive). The Chix diner is adorable, it’s good food and good value, but only open for breakfast and lunch. So be prepared to walk around to find a place to eat if those 2 do not appeal to you or you want to eat at a time when they’re not open."

"A poorly managed hotel, for the price it’s a big disappointment. There were no front desk staff when we checked in, behind about 10 other waiting guests. No way to contact anyone either. After 25 min wait finally someone arrived. Twice we encountered issues with accessing the front doors after hours. Notice says to ring the bell but both times no one answered. Luckily the first time another guest let us in so we could check in on the 2nd floor, why not the ground floor? Second time we came...

"Underground parking with elevator access: parking spots are kind of hard to get into if the spot is close to a support pillar, but very convenient, and well lit. Easy access to downtown C Train- or buses also. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by and MOXIES on the property is wonderful with variety of menu items. Clean, professional staff at the Hotel and the restaurant. Rooms are great size and very clean. Modern facilities with a pool also available. Close to all kinds of things to...

"We couldn’t sleep at all, our room was so noisy"

"No hot water the morning we were checking out and they’re only response (at 6:30 am) was they would have maintenance look into it when they started their shift and not that they would immediately call in maintenance to fix the issue for hundreds of guests who needed to get to conferences, meetings, etc long before the shift started. Breakfast has gone downhill a bit since we last stayed"
