"Very friendly and efficient check-in/check-out processes. Front-desk staff extremely helpful. Rooms were great in an excellent location to explore historic Portsmouth on foot. Random staff in hallways were courteous and always had a pleasant "hello". Can't speak highly enough about the staff."

"Unfortunately due a 'glitch' on their system I was charged twice for my room, this was resolved after a couple of days. The management emailed me with a full explanation of the problem and how they were going to solve it along with a full apology.
We all make mistakes, in the end it was their great customer care that impressed me. I'm looking forward to staying with them again."

"Believe the reviews when you read them here. Middle of the road hotel. Strange smell permeating the hallways. TV from what seemed like the early 2010s. Beds were comfy, however there were no extra blankets when I asked the front desk. Diner next door is very average. Nothing necessarily too wrong with it but would't stay again for the price."
