"Unfortunately target overbooked the terrace rooms, so we got bumped to a king suite. It was quite unfortunate as that was what we were looking forward too, however they did give us a free bottle of wine. Food and drinks were amazing at watch and the observatory. "The room was clean and had a unique layout that had the bed facing the window, which had a great view of Asheville and the mountains. The bar and outside restaurant also have a great view. Complimentary champagne is available in the lobby, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was that parking was valet at $22 per night which was not indicated when making reservations."

"The design of the room was ideal - lighting use was well-thought out - switches were convenient, plenty of light. Micro/refrig/coffee machine within one suite -great. Placement of mirrors was terrific - including both sides of the closet door. A/C was good. Bed was a bit unsupportive (room 505). Shower was strange - lacked a door, overspray became a bit messy. Very clean room, halls, stairwell. No "hotel smell" anywhere. One of 2 elevators was not working the 5 days we were there.,...
