Milford Sound is a 2-hour drive and Manapouri is 25-minute drive. Then, you can catch a boat to take you to the top of the lake, and take a bus over to Doughtful Sound.

The Space:
Harrington's on the Terrace - Murchison by Tiny Away is located in a small town on the South Island of New Zealand. Nearby The Fat Duck, Te Anau Glow Worm Caves, and Milford Sound Tour are just a few of the attractions in the area. The ideal Te Anau accommodation where you can unwind and reconnect with nature, complete with spectacular mountain views, fresh air, and nearby farm animals to keep you company.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers) for your use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that due to the proximity of the property to farmland, traffic noise and the wailing of sheep and deer may be heard in autumn.

We would like to advise guests that "Murchison is approximately 30 meters away from Luxmore Tiny House". If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and are welcome to take a stroll to the end of the lane, where you can find a lovely lake, perfect for small picnics. If there is no stock in the front paddock where the tiny house is situated, they are welcome to go for a walk in the paddock.

During your stay, we advise guests to respect the privacy of the farmland that borders the lane on both sides and other neighbouring residences down the lane.

A special reminder to guests that the garden is under development and are not permitted to access the garden or land host's private residence unless there is an emergency.

Guest Advisory: To maintain the quality and cleanliness of our linens and ensure a respectful environment for all guests, we are committed to providing high-quality linen. However, excessive staining from makeup, food, and other substances can lead to damage.

Consequences of Linen Damage:

- Guests will be responsible for the cost of replacing damaged or irreparably stained linens.
- Guests will be charged for excessive staining that cannot be removed, based on the extent of the damage.

- Te Anau Glow Worm Caves (with Real NZ) is a mystical underground world that shows stunning rock formations that lead to the glowworm grotto.
- The Fat Duck is a popular restaurant that offers a locally produced and delicious full menu like duck wantons, risotto balls, salmon, and more.
- Fiordland Jet Boat is a short-guided tour that offers iconic spins and thrills jet boat experience to stunning lake landscapes and mountain views.

Getting Around:
By car:

- Nearest City Invercargill 2 hours and 154.5 km, or if they fly into Queenstown 2 hrs 5 mins drive 171.5 km from our property to the nearest town 6 mins drive 4.4 km all reachable by 2WD recommended in winter to hire a 4WD.

By public transport:

- Guests can catch a bus from Queenstown on Tracknet to Te Anau. There is no service from Invercargill to Te Anau. However, we recommend to guests that it'd better to fly into Queenstown. If guests are coming by bus, we can arrange to pick them up from the bus depo in town. Please contact us 24 hrs before arrival so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Other Things to Note:
- We have a pet cat called "Ali"
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No pets as we have stock on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Potential main road noise and stock noise from farmland
- Watch for cars if you go for a walk down to the end of the lane
- We have farm animals close to the property; please keep a safe distance
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark have good reception. on the property while Telstra and Optus have no signal
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or open gates down the lane to take photos of the deer, sheep, cows, etc as these belong to our neighbours.

Pre-orders & Activities

- We offer both men's and women's mountain bike styles for free upon request. You can use these bikes to explore the beautiful mountain bike trails in Te Anau.
