Property listing and experience

The property was well appointed with a separate bedroom off the lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom. What was not clear with the listing is that the property owners reside in the main home and rent out the "flat" which is attached. A downside to the separate bedroom was that there was no on-suite which required a "mid-night" walk outside to enter the main "flat". The accomodation was well appointed and clean. The property owners were very accommodating and friendly permitting early access prior to the allocated time. Lavish gardens to walk around beautifully maintained.

Beautiful Peaceful Retreat

The accomodation is spacious and restful, with beautiful grounds and a peaceful, quiet setting well back from any traffic. Even though it rained it was still delightful.

Beautiful place, like having the garden of paradise in your own backyard. We absolutely loved our stay. Its very comfortable and has everything you need. Amber made it all easy by providing linen and making up the beds for us. We had a special guest every morning. first morning Oscar the dog, then a hen and last day a beautiful cat came quite politely and friendly to greet new guests

Whilst the surroundings are gorgeous and the accommodation is lovely the shower is awful. The water dribbles out and after a night out was very disappointing. Would recommend this accommodation if the water pressure is fixed.

Beautiful property in an ideal location for our needs. Minor plumbing issues - hot water was too hot even with the cylinder turned down, and the toilet needed to be flushed twice every time. But there was plenty of room for the 5 of us and everything was clean and tidy. Would definitely book this property again if the need arose. Thanks!

Stayed here for a week with my mum and 3 children under 6.

Stayed here for a week with my mum and 3 children under 6. The grounds are lovely, big and safe for our lot. They loved running around burning off steam. House was well presented. Its attached to main house but we had our own 2 separate doors as couldnt see house from property and they couldnt look n see us. Actually only time we saw the hosts was when i was walking the grounds with children n visiting chickens. Will definitely stay here again when back in Katikati
