Wake up in the morning, enjoy your hot drink out on the sundeck, looking out to the beautiful view of Mt Maunganui and glimpses of the water that surrounds both sides of the peninsula.

Spread across two levels, Home Sweet Home offers four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two lounges and two kitchens. There is more than enough space for your family or group to really spread out and get into holiday mode.

The upstairs area not only looks out over the view of The Mount, but also offers open-plan living, gets filled with natural light, and is a welcoming place to enjoy a meal together or watch some TV in the evening.

The spacious and well-equipped kitchen is on hand to make meals a breeze, such as a tasty brunch while you make a plan for the day. Then, at the end of a busy day down on the beach, exploring the area, or just making the most of some downtime, there is a BBQ waiting to be fired up for a classic Kiwi feast.

Home Sweet Home comes equipped with all the essentials for a relaxing holiday, including WiFi to keep you connected and so you can share those holiday snaps.

Spend your holiday in comfort, or step out to make the most of everything Mt Maunganui has to offer. Home Sweet Home is in the heart of it all! You'll be less than five-minutes from the bottom of The Mount and the hot pools, a two-minute walk from either Ocean Beach or Pilot Bay, or wander to the playground, local shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.

A place to lay your head.

Very tied property. Beds are old and uncomfortable. Limited kitchenware, eg salad bowls, platters. Its all about the location.

Girls Weekend Getaway

The location of this property was perfect for our girls weekend catch up. Easy, level walk into town with great shopping, cafes and restaurants. Also close to Pilots Bay, the Mount Hot Pools, the beach front and the Mt Maunganui walkways. Most of us didn't use our vehicles at all during our three day stay. Some aspects of the décor are a little tired, but this made it affordable for our group. The property owner was very responsive to an issue with the dishwasher and even left us a couple of bottles of wine to apologise for the inconvenience. I would definitely recommend this property to friend and family wanting an excellent central location for a large group.
