  • Set in 2 acres of beautiful gardens with fantastic views towards the Quantock Hills, this impressive timber-framed house is a wonderful countryside escape for families or groups of friends. Start your stay with a nostalgic journey on the West Somerset Railway, with a station right on your doorstep. Steam trains chug their way through rolling hills to Minehead or Taunton, offering a wonderful way to soak up the scenery. There are walks directly from the house, winding through peaceful lanes, fields and woodlands. If you prefer exploring on horseback, the surrounding bridleways make this a great area for a day of riding. The edge of Exmoor National Park lies 5 miles away, where wild moorland, deep valleys and sweeping coastal views create endless possibilities for hiking, wildlife spotting and picnicking. A trip to the coast at Minehead (15 miles) is a change of scene, with its sandy beach, traditional seaside charm and access to the South West Coast Path.

    Enter the welcoming hallway and discover a property designed for relaxation, celebration, and comfort. The country-style kitchen sits to your right, complete with a warming AGA that makes it a cosy hub for cooking and gathering. From here, walk through to the handy utility room, where a short flight of steps leads to a private bedroom with its own en-suite shower room – ideal for guests seeking a little extra privacy.
