"The cottage was restful, charming, clean, airy, and comfortable. Our host was welcoming, informative, helpful. Our breakfast was delicious and it was so pleasant to share the table in the main house with other travelers. When we needed a few things for the house, help was swift in coming. We could easily have stayed longer!"

"On arrival parking was atrocious, directed to another lot, while it was hailing. Front desk clerk was not helpful at all, had a bit of an attitude and did not assist with assigning a proper room. The hotel appears newish. Half the rooms are on the busy highway, and windows do not block sound. My friend stayed in room on the old Main Street, and was woken by horses walking by at 530. In other words, do not expect a quiet room. The shower was lacking, it looked fancy but was not very good with...

"The bed was comfy but bathroom area was not adequate. No shower and toilet in a room smaller than a portable outhouse. "

"Pillows too large to actually use. Bathrooms from the 80s..Slots in the lobby 30 years old. Literally the historical aspect the only reason to even walk in."

"I don’t know how bad I could rate this place, yeah I know they’re doing construction work, but that wasn’t pointed out, the carpeting in there was wrinkled and needed to be ripped up badly, and you had to walk through the casino to get to the front front desk, which really wasn’t a front desk. It was a gambling desk. The place basically sucked. I would give it a zero stars if I could."

"The rooms are recently renovated. We especially liked our large bathroom. Our room was on the 2nd floor and had parking in the back. This hotel has a good amount of slot machines too. But the #1 feature, is the location of the hotel. It is right across from Outlaw Square and the Silverado. We were able to sit on the balcony with a private bartender and enjoy the free concert. Definitely, will be looking for good rates at the historic Franklin again!"
