"The parking was fine, The reception gentleman was awesome and checking in was a breeze. He gave great advice for a meal. However, I thought the room was very dreary and the bed was soft. It had everything in it but it just didn't feel like a hotel. And the big clinch was having to wipe number twos off the toilet seat. This is unacceptable. I informed reception and the new person on duty the following day who both said they'd pass it on. The morning person said the cleaning staff were having a...

"We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. "Great location, literally across the road from the architectural marvel, the Govett Brewster gallery and just a few minutes walk to the waterfront, the Len Lye Wind Wand and the Puke Ariki Museum. Lots of restaurants and cafes just a short stroll away. The studio units are quite small and have minimal kitchen facilities if that matters (it didn’t to me), but they have all the essentials. Bella Vista motels are consistently very good, mid-range motels and the location of this one makes it quite...
