Stefano was most gracious, timely in responses, and helpful upon checkin. We had challenges with the Waze directions which were not his fault. Taormina has winding, narrow roads, and navigating at night was difficult. If you make a wrong turn, it can set you back 15 minutes or more. We were so lost at one point, but Stefano camw to our meeting point and guided us to the apartment. He carried our bags up the hill. Most appreciated by senior citizen, weary travelers. Orientation was a breeze. The payoff next morning was worth the challenge. We would stay here again! Note on the hill. If you are used to hiking this is challenging but doable.

Chiara kept in touch with us throughout all of our travel delays and met us at this beautiful house considerably later than anticipated; she was extremely helpful and made us feel so comfortable. The sunrise on the terrace is SPECTACULAR! The steep climb is worth it to this wonderful house.

Charming apartment with amazing view

Chiara, the property manager, was a star! She took great care of us and was incredibly responsive and helpful. We loved the place and especially the gorgeous view. Our only problem was the very challenging steepness of the driveway and the roadway between the apartment and town. We were on foot and in our 60s and it was a major challenge. Everything else was wonderful.

Wow, what a view

Great place, completely enjoyed our satay at this apartment. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Communication was good and the view is remarkable. I would stay again

Helpful host but some comfort issues

The host was very helpful and provided detailed instructions to meet at a designated point, from where we followed her car to a secure parking area about a 5-minute walk from the house. Please note, only small cars can fit in the parking. The house itself had some issues, though. It wasn’t as clean as expected, and while the balcony had a breathtaking view, the patio furniture was dusty and had pet hair. Another issue was the AC compressor, which made a very loud noise at night, forcing us to turn it off to sleep comfortably. Also, be aware that there’s a very steep driveway leading to the house, which could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. The host kindly helped us with our luggage, but we only had carry-ons. If you’re traveling with large suitcases, be prepared to carry them down the steep driveway when checking out. The location is about a 12-minute walk to the city center, but the walk back is uphill, which could be a bit tiring after a long day.

Incredible Stay! My Family Was So Sad to Leave!

SUPER HOST all around! Chiara was an angel and so incredibly helpful, caring, and overly accommodating. We stayed for 5 nights. Amazing location about 7 minute walk to main strip of Taormina. Views from the unit are just breathtaking! The patio is a gem to have! AC works fabulously. Beds could be more comfortable. Everything else in the unit was wonderful though! Kitchen was stocked with essentials if you want to cook. They provided two cribs for us no problem. Chiara was so amazing with our babies, had cartoons on when we arrived while she was bringing all of our luggage in. There is a very very steep climb to get up to the unit from the road, but totally worth it! Chiara drove our luggage up the hill to & from. The restaurant recommendations they give you are top of the line. Our two best meals in Taormina were ones Chiara pointed us to. She also was available anytime we needed help. We got lost walking home our first night and she FaceTimed us to guide us back. Shopping nearby is great, food in Taormina is all around phenomenal, beach access is simple and we had options! We had two babies under 2 with us on our stay and it was pure joy all around. The cable car access to the beach and Isola Bella was just brilliant. Apparently the night life appears to be great here! I cannot rave enough about this city and this host. We genuinely have nothing bad or negative to say. We will be back! Taormina, Sicily is a true slice of Heaven. Don't snooze on booking this one!

Great host, great little property and a beautiful town!

We are three friends and this was our first trip to Italy. We started in Naples, then to Sorrento and then here to Taormina. Stefano is an amazing host! He met our driver and brought our luggage up the steep hill to his charming home. He took the time to explain the town, how to get around and what to see. He takes great pride in his work and his enthusiasm is infectious. He even left us a delicious bottle of wine to enjoy during our stay. The views from his veranda are sweeping and it’s a great place to enjoy an espresso made fresh from the kitchen. There was plenty of bottled water to quench our thirst after a day of shopping and sightseeing. There were so many restaurants to choose from. Every meal was delicious! We went down to the beach and it was definitely worth it.The water was perfect and such a beautiful color!! Renting a beach chair and umbrella for the day was €25. Plenty of food and drinks available beachside. With all that said there is no doubt we hope to return again soon. Thank you Stefano! Ciao for now!

Beautiful Apartment - Beautiful View!

I would rent from Stefano and work with his property manager, Chiara, any day of the week - They're great! We were a little dismayed while looking for the apartment. There is no address on the building and the "addressing system" there is confusing. It's a bit of a walk from Casa Cloe to town but great exercise and after you do it a couple times - there's nothing to it. Casa Cloe is close walking distance to a well stocked market. Chiara, the property manager for Stefano, will bend over backwards to answer any questions and help you any way she can - It was very much appreciated.

Great apartment with terrace and fabulous view.

This apartment is well equipped and suitable for two couples travelling together. It is situated high on the hill with a lovely terrace and gorgeous view. The walk to the main street was within 7 minutes. The host arranged for secure parking for our car and provided a link to a good selection of restaurants and sights. Communication was very easy. I would happily recommend this apartment to others wanting to visit Taormina.
