The property was nice, great location for our trip! Just a few things that stuck out, the room with the 2 beds, the one bed that has the tracks above it was full of cobwebs/spider. I understand its in Florida but it looks like it had been there awhile. The pool was nice but dirty the firat day we were there which was the nicest, pool guy showed up on friday to clean and add chemicals so we couldn't use it over half the day. The notes left in the house for garbage details were not the same as what was emailed to me, that was confusing. But otherwise thw house was amazing! We had a great time and would recommend it to others.

in town for soccer tournament

it was a great place to stay, close to a nearby soccer field complex, and not far from downtown tampa.we really enjoyed the pool, travelled to tampa beaches or walked downtown wharf but then came back and spent most nights next to the pool while the kids ran around

The pool was still filling when we arrived and was cold. Pool bottom needed to be vacuumed. Pool area and furnishings were dirty. The smell of the inside of the house was musty; we bought plug-in air fresheners. Stained curtains in master bedroom. Windows in dining area didn't lock. Door in living room had gap that didnt look like it locked. On the first night after maintenance arrived to increase temperature on the pool, the front door was left unlocked along with the fence entrance and door to the pool area was unlocked. The floors were exceptionally dirty, the first morning within 30 minutes of showering and only walking indoors, the bottom of my feet were black. The house isn't being cleaned very well between guests.

Weekend Family Getaway

This property was amazing. A little worried when we drove up, but the house was absolutely wonderful inside. There was more than enough room for our family of 8. There were so many areas to gather and hang out, which was great since we had adults, a teen, and little ones The house had great views and very well stocked. We would definitely rent this again.

Beautiful Lake Home

Flew to Tampa from Altoona Pennsylvania to gamble at Hard Rock with my husband and mother in law. House was so nice and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The pool was awesome - very warm! Waking up to the birds and sitting outside watching the big white pelicans on the lake was a treat. So were the daily visit from the duck with the funny tail and his black duck friend. He ate crackers out of my hand! The house has tons of outside seating and lounge chairs around the pool too. It has a huge kitchen table, BIG TVs and very comfortable beds. Our gambling didn't go so hot, but we sure had fun trying. We'd like to thank the owners for the bottled water, their hospitality and letting us have our 4 days of fun in the sun while hitting Hard Rock Casino. Would recommend a stay there to anyone!

Wish I Could Give 6 Stars!!!

Don't even know where to start. We came in town for a Bucs football game. Tim and Sutton are AMAZING. The process itself was so stress free and wonderful. The place is gigantic in real life and all the beds/couches are incredibly comfy. The views are unreal and I have some of the best sunrise photos I have ever taken. We very easily fit 5 large adults and there is definitely room for more. Everything is labeled so you don't have to go searching for things, and they made sure you have everything you would need! The backyard space is somehow even better than the house itself! The pool area is so spacious and lost of seating for relaxing outdoors. I 1000% will be staying here next time we need to stay in Tampa! Thank you guys!!!

Loved This Rental

Previous reviewers are right - the neighborhood is an odd mix of beautifully maintained homes/yards and those in need of a lot of work. However, we saw moms with strollers, dog walkers, and joggers day and night - my husband went for walks in the early morning and later in the evening and had no issues at all. The surrounding neighborhoods - if you go out for groceries, etc. - seemed a bit more prone to criminal activity. (I've never seen so many security cars patrolling the WalMart parking lot.) I made the short drive to the Temple Terrace neighborhood for restaurants, an oil change, groceries, etc., and found everything I needed and had no issues at all. The property is just as described. The layout is open; one of my boys uses a wheelchair and had no issue getting around - except that he could only use the master bathroom as his wheelchair wouldn't fit through the door of the hall bath. There is a step down into the "sun room" that leads out to the pool - but if he went outside through the living room, he could access the pool without a step. I have never been in a rental with such a well-stocked kitchen. Any appliance I wanted was there - toaster, air fryer, three kinds of coffee makers, etc. Previous guests have left the cabinets stocked with aluminum foil, sandwich/freezer bags, etc. There is a whole spice drawer - I mean, I know that seems gross to some, but I'm okay using a previously used jar of chili powder - thanks for leaving it! Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of linens. There was a drawer of games and puzzles. A/C worked well. Grill worked. TVs in the living room and master bedroom both worked with Netflix and Amazon. The view from the master bedroom, living room, and pool area was pretty and peaceful. The lake was quiet - we saw one boat the entire week we were there. In fact, we only saw immediate neighbors while in the back yard once during our week-long stay. The pool was clean, but the deck could use a good cleaning, there's a broken cover that needs to be pitched, and there is an odd assortment of patio furniture in the yard and on the pool deck. I think I counted seating for at least 20 outside. We used the pool every day. There is also a good assortment of pool floats/toys which we added to. The diving board is gone, which was disappointing. Host was in town while we were there. He asked permission to go into the garage, and was friendly and available if we needed him. Absolutely will stay again.

Great property in a good location.

Large enough that everyone could stay together or have their own space. The pool is fantastic with a deep end. The lake can be seen from inside the house or while sitting by the pool. Would not suggest swimming in lake, as we did see a gator on multiple days. We visited Ybor City, Busch Gardens, and Zoo Tampa. All were within 20 minutes of property and didn't require interstate travel. We also went to a Tampa Bay Rays game and to Clearwater Beach. These 2 activities took 45 minutes to an hour of travel. House was clean and the property owner stayed in communication before and after the trip. We would recommend to any family that enjoys privacy and easy access to the activities that Tampa has to offer.
