The villa sleeps 17 guests in 7 oceanfront bedrooms, each with stunning views and private patios. Many rooms feature indoor-outdoor showers—a chance to spot monkeys or tropical birds as you start your day.

The Master Suite is a showstopper, offering panoramic 360° views of Tamarindo Bay and Langosta Beach, a spacious balcony, and a hand-carved king bed positioned for sunset views. Multi Family Vacation

The house was gorgeous and the staff was amazing! We had a large group and we all fit comfortably. We actually didn't spend much time away from the property because the pool was so nice and the beach is just steps away. Everything was very clean and all of our needs were catered to. The entire staff met us upon arrival with hors d'oeuvres and drinks which was a first class touch. Angel the butler was professional and top notch. He was friendly and attentive and really made the experience special. The concierge Lili was great. She was so helpful and responsive. She was quick to answer our questions and helped with all of the logistics of our trip. Overall it was a great experience and we are looking forward to going back soon!

The best choice for vacations!!

After evaluating different options of villas not just in Costa Rica but in other parts of the world, we decided that The Point was the best choice, and we totally nailed it!! If you are looking to have the most amazing vacation, where you can relax, spend time with your family, have the support of an amazing staff, go out for super fun excursions in the best location with the best weather ever, just go ahead and choose The Point Luxury Villa!!

Amazing!!!

A Safe Haven is how I would describe this amazing villa. The location of The Point and the villa itself are simply out of this world. My husband and I have had the most amazing days during our vacation. I am so thankful to the staff and the owners; it is amazing the level of commitment that one, as a guest, can feel they have in making our stay the best experience one can ever imagine. I am also so thankful to Google for directing me so well in my research for the best luxury villa in Costa Rica :) Definitely coming back!!

Beyond Satisfied

Our stay at “The Point” was perfect! From start to finish it couldn’t have gone better. I rarely take the time to write reviews but feel compelled too. David and Lily are the couple that managed our stay. Lily handled and organized all activities as our personal concierge while David seemed to oversee our stay. The location was a 10/10. We were literally steps down in front of the house to a semi private sandy beach on the Langosta side of the point while the Tamarindo side allowed us to walk the 10 minute sandy beach into the town of Tamarindo itself. The house itself was again a 10/10. Every bedroom had an ocean view and was beautifully designed. The master bedroom was something out of a magazine. My wife and myself were literally awestruck when we walked into it. We were apprehensive in having the Butler service as we didn’t think it was necessary and would compromise our personal space. In fact Angel (the Butler) ended up being one of our highlights to the stay and is a must have. You can thank me later for this advice:) Now as an avid golfer I was elated to find the coolest little world class visually stunning par 3 hole right on the estates property. It had 3 tee boxes at various distances with a two tiered putting green with 6 different hole locations. I had a blast turning the hole into 18 different holes playing the different variations. It also had beautiful below green level sand trap. The green sits on top of the point itself with a 280deg ocean view.

Best Luxury property in town!

Book The Arrival By Helicopter! It was spectacular!

This was my second time staying at The Point Luxury Villa, and it definitely won’t be my last. This time we arrived in style by taking advantage of their arrival by helicopter package and landed right at the Villa! The location of the Point is just the best, with direct access to both Tamarindo Beach and my favorite, Langosta Beach. The full staff is incredible, and having a VIP personal travel concierge, daily housekeeping, and butler service (shout out to Angel!) is one of the top reasons we chose to come back. On our first trip, we did all the tours and explored a lot outside the villa. This time, we only booked the private luxury catamaran again and just two dinners out. For the rest of our meals, we had the villa's amazing chef prepare everything, which allowed us to just relax and enjoy all the villa's amenities and felt it was a true vacation of rest, relaxation and pampering:) Btw, we loved the new 3-par golf feature on the property! It was a delightful surprise and really added to my family’s experience. Each year, The Point just gets better and better. We've already booked our stay for next year! The service, location, and amenities are simply unmatched!

A slice of Paradise

This is a very nice house with superb staff. You really feel pampered and the in-house chef meals were totally worth it. At first we didn't think we wanted a butler, but having Angel there in the afternoons was so nice for cocktails before dinner. If you want to feel pampered, this is the place for you.

Best Girls Trip Ever! Thank you!

The best girls trip ever! It was a super last minute trip that was discussed over cocktails with my best friends from college. I contacted Amy and the Concierge team at The Point who literally took this wild idea and turned it into reality! They helped us with all our transportation needs - note ground airport transport was included along with amazing daily breakfast. They customized the rest of our itinerary and made it all happen! From chef services, in-home spa services, fridge prestock, champagne sunsets and reservations at the top restaurants in town. The Villa itself is absolutely AMAZING. Great attention to detail, great outdoor spaces and the pool is the best spot for sunsets! The direct access to both, Tamarindo and Langosta Beaches was just so convenient! We can’t leave a review without mentioning Angel and Lorena, the increíble Butler and housekeeper — they went above and beyond to make this one girls trip we will never forget!

AMAZING SUNSETS!

We thought coming on rainy season was going to be a disaster due to the weather but....oh boy! We were soooo wrong! Weather was perfect, some clouds to avoid sunburn but we had THE MOST PERFECT SUNSETS ever! The kids loved the inifity pool, the staff and the butler was AMAZING with them to place their drinks, snacks and even the inflatables in the pool! Thank you Angel and Dilmar to help us with the kids! Breakfast was included and was perfect! Doña Lorena had all days a different menu for us and they were all great! We are deff coming back to The Point! Thank you Julieth and Staff!!

Best Romantic GetAway

Looking for a high end Luxury Villa with the highest PRIVACY in a secluded buy well located place? The Point is the better option! Closely located to restaurants, banks, supermarkets and all what you need in Tamarindo with a 5min walk thru the beach direct access, so location is really convenient. Privacy wise, IT´S AMAZING how you are located almost downtown with 2 direct beach accesss but almost with a private beach in front and a GREAT SPECTACULAR sunset view. It´s just perfect. If you add a champagne glass serve by the Butler next to the pool and firepits in front of the sunset... its just paradise. Staff was great. Concierge was great. InHome services were on scheduled, great rates and it was all perfect. Airport transportation and different breakfasts also included. GREAT PLACE to come back!

If you are doing the endless scrolling right now looking through numerous properties and checking all the reviews like I do before I book a place, let me save you some time! Just stop now and book The Point Luxury Villa! Our ever growing family takes an annual trip each year for the past 22 years to a different destination each time. We have traveled all across the globe and stayed at some incredible places! We have never repeated the same destination twice as there is still so much of the world to see. However we, as a family, made a unanimous decision on our last day of this trip. We have already booked The Point for next year and will make it our new annual spot!! The Villa itself is spectacular and offers everything a high end Villa should. But in reality it is the trifecta of the Location, Villa & Staff Services that really sets it apart from the rest! It is the best location with direct access to two beautiful beaches straight from the villa . All of the places we have stayed before have been located on the same level as the sand/beach or way up in the hills with amazing views, which of course is wonderful, but The Point is perched up on A Point lol hence the name! So you get the best of both worlds being just steps from the two beaches plus having the incredible views of the ocean, horizon and sunrises and sunsets! Of course you can see all of that from their photos and videos — def check out their 3d Virtual tour and their drone Video on their site to get the best overall view and layout of the property- that’s what sealed the deal for us to book. What surprised us the most was the staff and VIP service. From the minute we booked, Amy their VIP Concierge handled every single detail and made all of our vacation wishes come true…and with 15 of us that is no easy task! She truly went above and beyond! She arranged all of our meals for the week with Lorena, Chef Diego and Sebastian’s signature brunch! Golf cart rentals and Airport Transportation. Waterfall hikes and surf lessons for the little ones and so much more! From there Julieth and the staff at the house really made our stay! Huge shout out to the butler, Angel! His 5 star service was truly next level. He was there for anything and everything and overall just made our trip that much better! We cannot wait to get back next year and keep Making unforgettable memories at The Point!

My 40th Birthday Celebration at The Point!

I truly can’t say thank you enough to the amazing Point Team for making my 40th Birthday Trip one of the top vacations and birthdays I’ve ever had! The house and the location speak for itself just check out their video on their website as I think it shows the full scope of the villa & incredible panoramic views! And believe it or not the real thing is even better than the video and pics. There is truly something magical about this property and you feel it the second you arrive. The master bedroom is still by far my favorite space in the Villa - it’s like staying in a piece of art! Now on to the part that just pushed it over the top…The Point staff and VIP Concierge team truly go above and beyond to make sure anything and everything you could ever wish for becomes a reality. They arranged ground transportation to and from the airport for some of our guests and even pulled off a surprise from my husband and arranged a helicopter transport for myself and my best girlfriends in from the airport landing directly at the Villa! Talk about arriving in style- it was the best start to such an over the top celebration! We had a fully stocked fringe and bar upon arrival and were greeted with a welcome drink by the amazing staff and bartender. We had Chef Diego and Chef Sebastian cook for us numerous times throughout our stay including my birthday night dinner and the next Day Brunch with a Bloody Mary & Mimosa bar by Chef Sebastian which was my favorite meal of the stay! Highly recommend reserving the brunch! I knew there was going to be a celebration for the night of my birthday - but was not expecting the incredible decorations, live music & DJ plus the most delicious and beautiful cake and cupcakes! And then as if that wasn’t all enough, after they all sang happy birthday to me, they again surprised me with the most over the top fireworks show set off right at The Point out over the water! I couldn’t keep the tears from flowing - it was all just so wonderful. I can’t wait to get the footage from the videographer and photographer they hired to capture all these magical moments! Thank you again to Everyone that helped pull off the Best Birthday Celebration of my Life - 40 isn’t looking too bad!

Paradise found

I stayed at The Point two years ago before the pandemic and absolutely loved it. Since then the property has been newly renovated and it is now literally next level. The home is spectacular in every way but being perched on the point separating Tamarindo Bay and Langosta Bay gives the most amazing views. Adding the fact the we had our choice of beaches steps away was another great feature.. The house is large and luxurious and could easily accommodate a large party. The pool and deck are as nice as any high-end hotel with the privacy that one can get only with private homes. A newly added sunken fire pit is where we spent our time watching the sun setting each evening. Impossible to feel anything but blissfully present in those moments. The staff and management company went way above and beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend this property and I will eagerly return.

Unforgettable Stay!

We were so sad to leave this incredible property! Believe it or not, it is even better than the photos! There is direct access to the main two beaches but you are raised up a bit on a bluff so the views are just incredible. There is not a bad room in the house, however, the master bedroom is absolutely stunning. We had never seen a room like this in all of our stays around the globe. It is our new favorite for sure! Our family also loved hanging out around the fireplace after sunset. The villa had everything and more we could have needed and the staff is 5 stars all the way! We will for sure miss Nubia's breakfasts. Our stay was way too short but we will be back for sure!

A Perfect Family Vacation

We loved our time at the house....perfect for our family of 11: 5 teenagers and 6 adults. Nubia was a wonderful housekeeper, taking care of all our needs. The dining room table was large enough for all of us to eat and play games. Table in the living room was great for our jigsaw puzzle. Plenty of lounging areas outside by the pool to read and/or watch the magnificent sunsets. Lindsay and Jason were the icing on top....immediately arranged for all our desires: surfing, horseback riding, restaurants and dinners at home, including two birthday cakes. We all agree, it was the perfect vacation!

Can't imagine a better spot!

We recently stayed at Casa Del Madero and it was absolutely perfect for our group of five couples. It was exactly as advertised, if not better. The property is in a perfect location on a very private point overlooking two beaches. You can see about 270 degrees of ocean from the gazebo and it is about a mile walk on the beach to Tamarindo. The comnon areas, pool, etc worked great for us and each couple had there own suite complete with outdoor showers. Nubia (housekeeper and cook) and William (caretaker) were around daily and Nubia's breakfasts were great. We had a local family in to cook one dinner and it as awesome - but way too much food! Tamarindo is a really fun town with plenty of places to eat and drink. Pangas was a great spot for dinner on the beach. We rented golf carts to get back and forth to town and they were perfect for the mile of so drive from the villa to town or to the store for provisions. Lindsey, Jason and the rest of the Iguana Surf crew were super helpful in setting up all of activities in advance. The sunset sail, volcano hike and Black Stallion Ranch were our highlights. We even surprised the group with some zip lining at Black Stallion, which caused some concerned looks, but everyone had fun. Overall this was a great trip and I'm sure we'll all be back to Costa Rica and hopefully Casa Del Madero

Terrific spot - Lindsey is the best

I went to Tamarindo in Dec 2017 with my parents, sis, her bf and his parents. We live all over the US and traditionally had gone to Mexico for a break, but wanted to try something new. I got in contact with Lindsey ~4 months before we wanted to go. She is wonderful and called me on my Whatsapp number within minutes of me dropping a note that I might be interested in the house. We texted over the next few months after we booked and she organized everything from breakfast everyday with Nuvia (sp?), one of the caretakers who turns out to be a great cook to airport transfer etc. In terms of the house, it is perfectly located, but get yourself a golf cart (which is easy) so you can quickly get to lunch, dinner, etc. Otherwise, it is maybe 15-30 minute walk depending on your pace. It worked really well for us as we were all adults and each had our own space spread nicely throughout the house. We would have a retreat while also having a great outdoor space and area to have breakfast or dinner, which we did one night when it was organized for us to eat in. The bedrooms are nice and all the showers had an indoor/outdoor feel which is charming. Sunsets outside overlooking the pool and ocean are also memorable. Last thing is how easy everything was when we were there. Lindsey left us a list of her favorite restaurants and dropped off a cake at my dad's bday at a restaurant. My dad thought he may have left his computer at the airport after we left and I talked with her and she sent her crew on it and tried to track it down. He left it in Houston, but nonetheless her effort was really appreciated. She honestly makes your trip so you are in exceptional hands. The only thing I would say as a "negative" is if you needed the last bedroom under the gazebo. There is no bathroom so I can't imagine you would, but if you are counting on it I would not as we did not go down there once. Overall, great trip, great people at the house, cool little town. Ben

Lindsey and staff made the stay very enjoyable.... had a few maintenance problems....but handled promptly... all requests were met..the most I have paid in all my days of travel...and no regrets.

Fantastic experience!

I just recently spent a six night stay at Casa Del Madera with five other friends. The vacation was exactly what we had wanted; relaxing, active, exciting, tranquil, and more importantly seamless. Lindsay and Jason were perfect managers of the property. They were very friendly, accommodating, and responsive. The house was fantastic and private. The view, was incredible and it is steps from the beach. We asked them to arrange all of the outings, (zip lining, white water rafting, surfing, volcano hike, and ATV tour). Ale seamlessly arranged all of the outings, which included pick up and drop off from the house. We also had Nubia prepare breakfast for us. Which was a nice treat. The house was incredible, the view was incredible, the sunsets were incredible, but the vacation was better because of the experience that Lindsay, Jason, Ale, and Nubia effortlessly provided to us.

Beautiful and relaxing

I stayed five nights at this beautiful property with my wife, son and friends. The villa was perched on a point directly above the beach. It was only a short walk into Tamarindo along the beach; however, we spent most of our time relaxing in the infinity edge pool, watching the waves roll in from the ocean and amazing sunsets in the evening. Lindsay and Jason were both very friendly and attentive to any needs or requests we had during our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in or around Tamarindo.
