Casa Pipilacha es una villa de lujo de estilo marroquí diseñado como una obra de arte de Abraham Valenzuela, uno de los arquitectos más reconocidos de Costa Rica. Se encuentra en una pieza increíble y tranquila de tierra cerca de la cima de la colina con vistas a Playa Tamarindo y sirve como un refugio tranquilo, pero cerca de la playa, tiendas, restaurantes y lugares de ocio y esparcimiento de Tamarindo. Todas las áreas de la casa ofrecen impresionantes vistas panorámicas de Playa Tamarindo y Playa Langosta y el océano sin fin.

En frente de la sala de estar y la gran terraza cubierta se encuentra una enorme piscina "infinity" con dos terrazas pequeñas - todas con una fantástica vista de 180 grados. Sumérgete en la piscina, relajarse en la terraza y disfrutar de las puestas de sol de imagen perfecta de este magnífico mirador!

La cocina está totalmente equipada y cuenta con todos los servicios, incluso para el cocinero apasionado. Una barbacoa de gas también está disponible. Se puede elegir entre dos comedores: en la terraza o en el interior de la sala de estar. Toda la casa se criba y se abre a la terraza.

La habitación principal tiene una cama king size. El segundo dormitorio cuenta con una cama queen size. Ambos dormitorios tienen ventanas panorámicas. Toda la casa dispone de aire acondicionado.

The instructions to villa were not correct and not presented in chronicle order for villa access: 1) Who uses a villa phone before you gain access to the villa. 2) No mention that the remote was for the entry gate but the villa instruction said it was for the alarm. 3) The view was not as shown in photos, completely overgrown in front of pool. 4) Animals ran across the roof of the villa for entire access, day and night, this was reported but never got any feedback as to what, if anything would be done to remedy the problem. 5) A alphabetic password was provided for the alarm panel for a numeric keypad? 6) The shower hand wand hose broke and I had to get the groundskeeper to remove good hose from second bathroom and install in master bath shower.7) There are no pads on chaises as shown in photo and no access from bedroom to chaises as the handle on the slider was either broken off or removed. 8) The pool is constantly covered in leaves and other debris and needs constant cleaning during the stay due to high winds. 9) Most of the hanging plants shown in photos at pool are not there. 10) I noticed "droppings" on the outside foyer of pool under a woven wicked disk on wall used by bats to nest and thousands of bat "droppings" fell to the floor. I showed the grounds keeper, but nothing was done to cleanup or resolve the problem. I cleaned up mess two feet from where I would sit at table. 11) The stereo receiver did not work. 12) Had a TV but needed to pay to watch service.

Amazing property, absolutely beautiful. However, false advertisement with location. It is technically walkable to the beach but you have to walk up the STEEPEST hill and in hot weather it’s impossible. Also at night you can’t walk into town, too dark and sketchy. Property itself was fabulous no issues.

Amazing view and stay!

Lola was really nice and the house was everything we could have asked for and more. The AC, Wifi, and water worked without any problems. The view was amazing, especially during the sunsets. Definitely would recommend!!

Love this house

The house is beautiful, comfortably appointed and feels like home. The view is incredible, make a point to be at the house for sunset! This house has amazing air conditioning, almost too good. The road to the house doesn’t lend itself to cars with low ground clearance, but not impassable. Will definitely stay here again!

Everything except hot water worked well at the priperty.

Hot water was in and out. The roads leading towards the property up the hill were broken and somewhat unsafe. An HOA to fix those roads is appropriate.

Amazing Patio and View

We loved staying at this house. It is stunning. Even when it rained in the afternoons and evenings, sitting outside under the covered patio was relaxing. Kitchen has all the amenities and the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. Yes the hill is challenging. We had a gas powered golf cart but only used it when it wasn’t raining. We were able to use Uber to get up and down the hill at night. Hosts were very responsive when we had an issue with the WIFI.

Beyond my expectations!

This location and our experience with RPM Vacations, the property manager, was fantastic. German and Lola answered all of my questions and helped book everything prior to our vacation: excursions, gas golf cart rental (highly recommend for the hill!), sailing, fishing, ATV, and jungle adventure. Our private chef, Cristian, and all of the people we met treated us like family. Our excursions were PRIVATE and surpassed what we even hoped for. I cannot rate our experience highly enough. The rooms, the views and sunsets the patio and pool - amazing!

Fantastic! Beautiful! Fabulous!

Our stay at this home was fantastic and the house lived up to its description and more. Lola from RPM communicated with us the whole time and made our stay very easy. The location Is great with the exception of the road leading up to the house. You will definitely neeed transportation of either a car or a gas golf cart. The property inside and out is amazing and having a pool right off the patio overlooking the ocean makes you not want lo leave. For those of you who plan to cook while staying, the kitchen provides everything you need. There is a major grocery store five mins away for any of your needs. We had a private chef our last night and the food was incredible. One bit of advise; I would not do the chef on your last day because there was so much food leftover that you could have a second meal.. Once again this place is incredible and we will definitely stay here again.

I will be back!

CASA Pipilacha is beautiful. The attention to detail in the home is exquisite. I loved everything about this house, especially the sunsets. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning and wifi worked great. I didn't want to leave. It was a sanctuary or temple for me and I felt at peace there. The peeing monkeys in the pool are brilliant. The hill really isn't bad. We walked it about 3 times a day. It seems steeper driving in the car than it does to actually walk it. Thank you to the owner for sharing this home with us. I hope to spend a month here in Jan.

Beautiful Home & Sunset Views

The previous reviews regarding the drive uphill are correct. However it’s not really difficult once you know the exact street (next to Best Western entrance) that leads right to the gated entrance. Once there, the home is beautiful and the mornings and evenings at the infinity pool overlooking Tamarindo were spectacular. The privacy and intimacy of the home added to the relaxing family experience. While also being just minutes away from all the activities, restaurants, beaches in Tamarindo - and short, easy drives to additional beaches just south and north of the city. The services provided by the property management were super helpful and easy to coordinate, along with finding a few options on our own. They also helped us book a wonderful, authentic Costa Rican family meal right at the property. Which proved to be one of our favorite experiences as a family on this trip. Cristian, the chef, was incredible. His meal was truly magical and we are now forever addicted to his fried plantain appetizers topped with fresh, homemade guacamole and pico de gallo! One caveat there are only two bedrooms with one king and one queen sized bed. The additional beds are fold out beds and they are not the easiest to open and set up. The information leading up to our trip could have been better. If you need beds for more than two couples - let them know in advance to set up the extra beds and make sure the pillows and linens are in place before your arrival

Paradise in Tamarindo

Absolutely beautiful home with amazing details from ceilings to statues and fixtures. Very clean and plenty of supplies. Manuel takes care of the grounds and pool daily so it’s always clean. The view from the patio and pool is amazing and we enjoyed that much better than the Tamarindo beach. The road is interesting but our car handled it fine and we had some good laughs when it got a little bumpy. There wasn’t a coffee machine and when I let them know someone showed up promptly with one. Very good service. Highly recommend

Perfekte Wohlfühloase

Das Haus ist in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Lage ist aussergewöhnlich und die Sicht von der Terrasse oder vom Infinitypool auf den Strand, das Meer und die Sonnenuntergänge sind einmalig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
