"Incredibly peaceful and quiet. The birds were incredible to see and hear! Easy walk (at the end of the cul-de-sac at the bottom of the hill) to the beach by way of a mowed path. Beautiful!"

"Great customer service on arrival... nice clean room but mould on bathroom window (not a lot) needs to be removed, Room 10... but that wouldnt stop me recommending staying here.."

"The house is in a beautiful location with excellent views, and was extremely well presented throughout. As it's a little far from shops, you'll want a car although there is a bus service that passes very close by. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Frances was more accommodating than any host we’ve encountered in any country. She met us upon arrival, explained a few things, made two restaurant reservations for us, changed one on the day of, provided directions, rebooted internet immediately, and left cream for our coffee. She even had fresh flowers throughout the house. Her place is a perfect location to sit and watch all the port and harbor activity, walk to several restaurants and cafes, but easy to take tunnel into Christchurch....
