Charming and cozy downtown home! 4 Bedrooms, 2 full baths house on main street 6th Ave. This two story home has the master bedroom upstairs with its own TV and a window nook to cozy up with a good book. This home is perfect for families, friends and corporate stays. It has been recently updated and is located in the heart of Tacoma with just a walking distance from many different delicious eateries, boutiques, coffee shops, brewpubs, and much more!!

Please remove shoes In home to remain the cleanliness of the space, thank you for understanding and your cooperation. Personal complementary slippers are provided for guests (can be found at entrance and closet of each room)

Both bedrooms downstairs are queen and upstairs master bedroom offers a king size bed.

If you have an 7th guest you are welcome to use the futon in the office as an extra space with bedding to be made available. If you have under 7 guest but would like bedding to be provided, PLEASE REQUEST!

Access to parking will be through alley from Steel St. if gate at the alley is closed it can easily be pushed open to enter. You may drive through there and access the space directly behind home through the back driveway (2 cars) please try not to block the alley for neighbors. Extra free parking space can be found if you park along Steele st.

There is a motion detector on the front porch and in the backyard for your safety, so we are aware if anyone comes into the property outside of you, as well as guests of our own.

Check in time is 3 PM or later ONLY. To ensure my cleaner has enough time to properly clean between guests.

Host was professional and very responsive to our needs. We especially loved that it was dog and kid friendly, and walking distance to many great restaurants and coffee shops. Looking forward to renting this unit again on our next trip to Tacoma.

Great communication from Angela, very nice house, well appointed, washer/dryer, comfy beds, dishwasher, plates, utensils, etc. Very busy street with noisy bar across the street. Noise dies down by midnight...

Perfect location and no surprises

Great location, super walkable. Tons of cafes, some of the best restaurants in this city. This VRBO has terrific beds with nice linens and the house flows. The two bathrooms were full bathrooms. Nice large kitchen was a plus. Everything was just as represented in the photos. If you have planned an active stay in Tacoma you will not find a better VRBO.

The house is really cute and well taken care of! It’s small but perfect as a home base if you’re out and about a lot. It has everything you need for a few days and the beds are very comfortable. There was a bit of an issue with accessing the parking area as a neighbour blocked the entrance and didn’t move the entire weekend, but the owner directed us to another spot. There’s a loud, popular bar across the street which wouldn’t be great if you have little kids trying to sleep, but it could be a plus for anyone looking for a fun place to hang out!

In the heart of a bustling mixed commercial zone; easy access to many locations in the Tacoma area. The property itself is very well done older home that is clean, bright, welcoming and fully equipped for a couple or a small group.

Really great place to stay with friends!

We had a great stay at this property! The house was really clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved how each room had its own heater so that each person could have the temperature they preferred while sleeping! It would have been nice if the back door also had a keyless entry since that is where we parked our car but it wasn’t the end of the world. Also, the street noise is a little loud at night but use a white noise machine and all is good! The host was super responsive and accommodating. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Fun neighborhood, great location.

The house was perfect for our family. Comfortable and homey. Located close to plenty of cute shops and great dining. We highly recommend the pub, located directly across the street. Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and the ferry to Vashon are also a quick 10 minute drive. We would be happy to stay here again.

Great outdoor hangout spaces

We spent a lot of time in the backyard around the fire pit and out on the front porch. Just what my family was looking for. House was lovely too. Cooked group meals easily. Nice walk through neighborhoods to commencement bay. Thanks for a great stay!

Wedding stay

We were in town for a wedding at Chambers Bay Golf Club. Although it was a ways away from venue, we liked the neighborhood and it was super easy to get to and get around to everywhere we wanted. Lots of places to eat close by and was everything we needed. Shopping was close and we had no problems.

Comfy stay

The house was great! Although, it does list central AC/heat and that is not correct. There is only one window unit upstairs for one of the rooms. There are no ceiling fans either. We needed air movement at least as it had been warm, even for Tacoma area. We went to a local store and bought fans for the rooms. But the house itself was cute and clean! The reviews of the neighborhood were accurate so we were at least prepared for that. It is across the street from a bar. Since we slept with the windows open at night for cool air, we heard everything! The yard and parking were clean and well taken care of. We still felt safe in the neighborhood and with parking in back.

The house was impeccably clean upon arrival. The bed linens were deluxe! The host was very responsive and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay. Great location walking distance to restaurants and pubs.

Nice Property for Adult Get Away

Very clean property with comfortable accommodations. Good setting for those looking for a weekend get away with friends or older family members. The house is located on a busy street with a bar next door, which caused the evenings to be a bit loud; light sleepers may want some ear plugs. With that said, it has off street parking and the main street I mentioned affords easy driving access to restaurants which are located on that road.

Family holiday

My family stayed here for a week to visit some folks in Tacoma over Christmas. It was a great house for grandparents, my sister, and my fam of 3. Everyone had their own space but we could hang out together also. It was spacious clean and airy. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms updated. The location was on a busy street (in a cool part of Tacoma) and sometimes it was a little noisy, but not enough to be super disruptive. The offstreet parking was great too.

Great space, clean and as described

This property was great. It was clean, comfortable, and up to date. Plenty of room for a group, great kitchen, comfortable beds, and well kept. Communication with property owner was easy, check in/out was a breeze. Close to restaurants and coffee bars. This was a great place for us! Would book again!

A custom location

Plus: The place is clean and the actual beds are comfortable. Off street parking for 2. The fold down in the 4th bedroom is quite small and without sheets and pillows. The houseless trailer at the end of the driveway was a nice touch, as was the lack of keyless entry at the back parking spaces (which we were happy to have). Definitely bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. O'Malley's across the street is quite the upscale dive. All in all a decent place to lay your head.

Great location for Drinks, eats and things to See

The house is great for those needing three bedrooms. Lots of well utilized spaces for relaxing, eating, cooking and sleeping. Angela is very nice and helpful. The location is great for entertainment, but be aware that the house is right across the street from a busy late night bar. Lots of street noise until places close for the night. Really walkable restaurants and bars though, so that's the trade-off.
