Secluded Log Home with Mountain View

Beautiful mountain log home with a great secluded location in the Fraser valley. This fabulous hand crafted andlog house is located on 4 ½ acres in a very quiet, forested, private neighborhood with easy access to all the splendor and fun the region has to offer. Winter Park summer/winter resort and Granby Ranchski areas are within a 25 minute drive. Amazing views of the valley and Byers Peak. Moose and deer often seen and photographed on the property.

This luxurious and spacious log home has a covered wrap around deck with BBQ that’s perfect for grilling in the summer or in the winter! The property backs to National Forest andis surrounded by trails for biking & hiking in the warmer months or snowshoeing and cross country skiingin the winter.

Three bedrooms plus loft with two trundeltwin beds. Large 600sf master bedroom has private balcony with pristine viewes, and jetted tub in private bath.The home has warm floors with radient in-floor heating throughout.WiFi, wood stove with large indoor firewood closet for convenience. Fully equipped kitchen and pantry. Washer Dryer in mud/entry room. 2 car garage and large driveway area for additional parking.

Beautiful home

This was the perfect place to getaway, relax, and explore Colorado. The home is spacious, welcoming, and quiet. The views from the back deck cannot be beat. We would absolutely recommend this property to family and friends traveling in the area.

Beautiful Home. Incredible views.

Lovely home, nicely furnished with well-stocked kitchen. Everything was in good working order so we had no need to contact the hosts for anything. I rated it a 5 but was surprised that they did not furnish any toiletries (shampoo, kleenex, etc.). It is quite a trek into town along dirt and gravel roads so plan to bring your own. Regardless, we would return here for the ambience, comfort and views.

Amazing

Absolutely beautiful home with a gorgeous view! My husband and I travel from Florida to Colorado at least once a year this home was absolutely perfect. The views were amazing. The home was extremely clean. We saw deer and watched, but looked like chipmunks scurry about almost all day. It was very relaxing.

Loved this house!

This property was perfect for our family to gather - plenty of room for both privacy and togetherness. The setting is wonderful - slightly farther out (very slightly) but with the benefit of an amazing setting and view - including wildlife - got to see deer and moose from the house. Super cool! And, the hosts were phenomenal!

Amazing Mountain Lodge

We had a great ski vacation at this mountain lodge. Beautiful place with amazing views. Very well appointed with everything you need. Rod and his family were exceptional hosts, friendly and highly responsive. I felt like I was staying at a friend’s place. We will definitely be back!

Amazing property

We absolutely adored this lovely house. Lots of room for everyone. Tons of games, kitchen was well equipped. There is a beautiful deck for watching all the deer and a wood burning fireplace (with lots of wood supplied) to keep it cozy inside. We loved being close to WP/Fraser for skiing and the restaurants, but being able to be in the peace and quiet of the property when we returned. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive when needed.

Great and relaxing get away!

We had a great time at this cabin! It's a beauiful and spacious place and was nicely secluded even though it's technically part of a (spread out) neighborhood, which we loved. We had more room than we needed with ourselves and our two adult children. As we were there at the start of winter, we loved sitting near the fire in the stove in the evenings watching a little TV. They have a great office upstairs, but we worked at the kitchen table while enjoying the views... and played games there in the evenings. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom which was perfect. The house could have easily and comfortably handled several more people. The location was great - close to Winter Park and Grand Lake. Would love to come back sometime... I bet it's especially gorgeous in the fall!

Perfect mountain views and quiet

Our stay couldn't have been more perfect! The cabin is absolutely gorgeous inside and out and very clean! The views and scenery were amazing! The cabin was very well equipped with anything you could need to cook with. Plenty of firewood for the wood stove. The roads there were well maintained and easy to navigate. I loved staying near the western entrance of RMNP versus the estes side that's more populated and busy. My husband and I came for peace and quiet and beautiful scenery for our 5 yr anniversary and we got everything we could have asked for and then some. We definitely recommend this place to everyone and plan to stay here again. Rod the owner was so nice and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. It'd be hard for me as an owner to rent this place as I'd want to be there all the time myself. Thanks again!

Great spot for extended family getaway!

We had a fantastic time at Rob & Starlene's cabin! The location is fantastic, secluded but still close to Fraser & Winter Park. We enjoyed exploring around the cabin, having smores in the fire pit, and spending all day on the deck. They were easy to communicate with, kept us up to date on their coming & going from the property due to some family stuff, and were just generally super nice people. The house had lots of space for us all to spread out if we needed to, but come together for dinner and games, which getting both things can be hard to come by. We can't wait to stay again!

What a view!!!

House was amazing!!!! Great views, trail access and very comfortable. Kitchen amenities were sufficient, really enjoyed the cast iron as that’s what we use at home. Never turned on the TV’s. WiFi was adequate for basic browsing. Your right between Winter Park and Grand Lake.

Quiet, mountain cabin

The home was very accommodating for our party. Very private with spectacular views of the night sky and a visit from a moose and her calf. One minor issue with the water heater that the owner handled promptly. Plenty of towels, utensils, cookware, and dishes available. Wraparound deck very comfortable and spacious.
