"Clean, sizable rooms for the City. Wonderful staff, great location with sooo many food options. Walkable to everything, including subway stations. Quieter part of the City, not a ton of late night street noise. Safe to walk around at night. Will definitely stay here again."

The cleaning/maid staff was so great - they even brought up cookies and fresh bottles of spring water before bed!! The concierge, Tracy, was really helpful and Oscar, our server in the Café Chelsea, made my daughter's birthday breakfast a great experience. "

"Just an FYI - the rooms are TINY and the combined toilet room/shower with sink in living room leave little to be desired. The person sleeping closest to the window has to literally crawl over the other person to get up. Also - the additional taxes/fees/ETC added an extra $40/day which was not originally disclosed but that is probably the same for all NYC hotels. The room was clean and had cleaning service every day so that was nice."

If you look for a lively scene this hotel delivers, if you need peace and quiet keep in mind that the lobby has live music and the sound carries. Most of the staff is very kind and helpful. We were hoping to book it again later this year, but it seems like the terrace room is all booked up. The view is totally worth it. It’s all good. We liked it so much.
