A comfortable 40-square-meter apartment for 4 people, located on the first floor of a building with an elevator in the historic center of Syracuse (a few steps to enter). The apartment is located on the island of Ortigia, right above the market, just a short walk from the Temple of Apollo and all the main attractions.

The apartment consists of a living room with a kitchenette, a bedroom, and a bathroom.

The accommodations are laid out as follows:

- LIVING ROOM with a double sofa bed, TV, dining table, and KITCHENETTE (gas stove, refrigerator, freezer, moka pot, electric kettle, oven, wine glasses, and various kitchen utensils);

- BEDROOM with a double bed, closet, and dresser;

- BATHROOM with shower stall, sink, bidet, and toilet.



ADDITIONAL AMENITIES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited Wi-Fi, air conditioning with heat pumps (split systems in the living room and bedroom), iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and clothesline.

Crib and high chair available upon request, subject to availability.



PLEASE NOTE: The accommodations are located above the Ortigia market; given its central location, there may be some noise at certain times of the day.



7 days before arrival, you will receive instructions on how to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the tourist tax (4% of the cost of the stay, up to a maximum of €5.00 per person per night, for up to 7 consecutive nights).

We need this procedure to verify your information and documents and to send the details to the Alloggiati Web police service, which is the Italian system for registering guests staying in Italy.

The use of air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (Presidential Decree No. 74 of April 16, 2013; Ministerial Decree No. 383 of 6.10.2022).

Summer: The average air temperature must not be lower than 26°C for all types of buildings.

Winter: The weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The heating season and the daily operating time depend on the climate zone defined by the regulations.

Syracuse Climate Zone B: 7 hours per day from December 8 to March 23.



Check-in will be via online self-check-in; and completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to retrieve the keys and gain access to the apartment.

Keys can be retrieved free of charge via the on-site keybox.

If you encounter any problems, telephone support is available until 10:00 PM.



If you would prefer to have a member of our staff deliver the keys to the apartment, this is possible upon request for an additional fee of:

- From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM: 15.00 euros;

- From 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM: 25.00 euros.



The apartment is located in the heart of the beautiful island of Ortigia, just a short walk from the Ortigia Market, a traditional market brimming with local products and street food, where you can shop and savor local delicacies.

As you stroll through the island’s streets, you can admire centuries of history, splendid palaces, lively trattorias and cafés, as well as other landmarks such as Maniace Castle, the Aretusa Fountain, and Piazza del Duomo, one of the most spectacular squares in all of Sicily. In the summer, you can swim off the rocks or at some of the small beaches and sunbathing areas along the waterfront. Breathtaking views can be enjoyed year-round.

In the area, you’ll find many other amenities such as a bank, post office, convenience store, restaurants, bars, shops, and much more.

The main destinations in Sicily can be reached by Interbus from the central station (via Rubino), where shuttles to Catania-Fontanarossa Airport also depart (approximately 1-hour trip).



- FROM CATANIA AIRPORT: You can reach the apartment by taking the ALIBUS service, which connects Catania Airport to Catania Central Station, where you can take the regional train to Syracuse Station, a 15-minute walk from the property.

Alternatively, from the airport, you can reach the apartment by taking the Interbus from the airport to Syracuse Station.

- FROM SYRACUSE RAILWAY STATION: You can reach the apartment on foot in 15 minutes or by taking the minibus.



- IF YOU’RE TRAVELING BY CAR: Parking is not included. You can park for free on the street (white lines—NOT guaranteed); the Talete Parking Lot (for a fee) is 50 meters away.
