The location is ideal for exploring the city on foot, immersing yourself in the distinctive atmosphere of the Ronchi neighborhood and the narrow streets of Ortigia.

The interior layout is as follows:

The entire home is for the exclusive use of guests during their stay, and there are no shared spaces with the host or other tenants.



The apartment is located near the waterfront in Ortigia, the oldest and most charming part of the city of Syracuse. On the island—connected to the mainland by the Umbertino Bridge—you can stroll through the streets and admire centuries of history, splendid palaces, and lively trattorias and cafés. You can visit Manice Castle, the Arethusa Spring, the ancient Temple of Apollo, and—an absolute must-see—Piazza del Duomo, one of the most spectacular squares in all of Sicily.

The island of Ortigia is framed by charming houses and walls overlooking the sea. In the summer, you can swim off the rocks or at some of the small beaches and sunbathing areas along the waterfront. Breathtaking views can be enjoyed year-round.

If you want to get away from the tourist crowds, we recommend visiting the hidden corners of the old Jewish ghetto, the Giudecca, which still preserves the comb-like layout of the city designed by Greek architects.



The apartment is located just a few meters from the sea, a video-monitored parking lot, and the minibus stop, which allows you to easily get around the city and reach:

- The Archaeological Park

- The Catacombs of St. John

- The Paolo Orsi Museum

- The Shrine of the Madonnina delle Lacrime

- The bus and train station

In the neighborhood, you’ll find all the amenities you need for your stay: a bank, post office, mini-market, restaurants, bars, shops, and much more.



The train and bus stations can be reached by bus or in a 10-minute walk.

The Interbus connects Catania Airport to the Central Station (about a 1-hour ride), from where you can then take the minibus to Ortigia.

PLEASE NOTE: The island of Ortigia is located in a restricted traffic zone (ZTL; closure days and times vary depending on the season).



The nearest parking lot is 170 meters from the apartment and is called Talete. It is open 24 hours a day and offers affordable rates.
