  • Unique apartment for finishes and location, luxuriously furnished at the entrance of Piazza DUOMO in ORTIGIA, in the historic center, Via Landolina 19.
    The apartment is structured in 3 large main areas: the two bedrooms with private bathroom and emotional shower located in the wings of the apartment, and spacious living room dining room in the central body.
    The entire building is very bright, and is located on the first floor of a historic building in Ortigia, with private entrance, four balconies and private terrace.
    The bedrooms are spacious, one overlooks the famous Via Landolina, the other has a terrace overlooking an internal courtyard where you can see the side facade of the historic Chiesa del Collegio. Each room has its own bathroom, these are very large, with an emotional shower, so you can relax after the intense day spent around the beauties of the city. The living area kitchen is an open space that consists of a new fully equipped and equipped kitchen, a living room with sofa bed, dining table and TV. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning / heating and FREE Wifi connection in the entire structure. The accommodation is fully equipped with crockery, linen, detergents, etc., also has a laundry with washing machine. The apartment is very comfortable for long stays.

The apartment is lovely and right in the center of Ortigia. Mimi was fabulous. Booked a parking garage for us, sent us to great restaurant and was available but any questions.

Wir waren zu dritt Ende März/Anfang April 2026 in dieser Ferienwohnung auf Ortigia. Wir hatten sehr kurzfristig einen Tag vor Reiseantritt gebucht. Die Gastgeberin meldete sich zeitnah nach der Buchung, die Kommunikation war problemlos. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral in Ortigia, kurze Wege zu allem auf der Insel. Man hat viel Platz, große Wohnküche mit Sofa in der Mitte der Wohnung, zum kochen ist alles vorhanden. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl, man kann über Klimaanlage und kleine E-Heizkörper auch gut für Wärme sorgen.Sehr empfehlenswert!

The location is AWESOME, making it worth the price. The rooms are spacious with wonderful natural lighting. The beds are quite comfortable. The air conditioning was great. It takes quite awhile for the hot water to kick in. There were no eating utensils: forks, knives, spoons. No trash containers in the kitchen. Kitchen is minimally equipped. There a dog either upstairs or next door, who barks occasionally, which was fine till the barking started at 1 am. The ad mentions a garage which is not actually at the property is an additional charge. However. It was well worth the money and an easy 5 minute walk. Ask about additional fees.

Mimi was personable enough but often not available - and not at all enthusiastic about assisting us.(NO hot water for a day. Some listed kitchen items were missing!) The posted photos of the apartment are very dated and give a misleading impression of the place, which needs work.The balconies are tiny. At least one of them is loaded with junk and is unusable. The large back balcony directly overlooks the neighbours’ laundry up close and personal, dilapidated roofs and an apparent old demolition site. Not pleasant.The location, however, is excellent. Close to food and wine markets and wonderful restaurants. Love Ortigia!!!

We are a couple and stayed 5 nights in Ortigia. Apartment is perfectly located within the heart of Ortigia. Two very large bedrooms and two bathrooms plus kitchen/lounge/dining area. Restaurants/bars/snack foods and shopping on your doorstep and in all directions.An easy 20 minute walk with bags from the train station. We contacted the agent for a few minor issues which were resolved immediately. We would hope that in future, the apartment will be equipped with a drying rack for the clothes as this was the only item lacking.

Heart of the city

What a superb apartment - tasteful decor, spacious, located in excellent spot, and great communication with host. Host was super helpful with parking arrangements, suggestions for activities and aided us when we needed a later checkout when a family member was not feeling well. We loved this place!

This was a phenomenal flat in a perfect location. Excellent host very helpful

I stayed alone but was traveling with friends - this flat was located perfectly for all my needs - I would stay again without hesitation. The host was one of the best I’ve ever had

Superb location and beautiful apartment

We loved our stay. The apartment is exquisite, and right in the middle of an historic, fun neighborhood. It’s on a corner of two pedestrian streets, and although it’s busy, it’s quiet with the windows closed. We would definitely stay there again. So many restaurants and cool shops and street vendors. Don’t miss the Fish House Art Gallery a block away. And we loved the boat ride around the island.

Super super location in the heart of everything. great host, great communication, easy to book. If you don’t look into this two bedroom two bath apartment you’re missing out. Will return.!!

The apartment is well located, right in the middle of a vibrant street with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafés nearby. We were assisted virtually by Emily, who was very responsive whenever we had questions. She made the check-in process very easy and even sent us a list of recommended places in the neighborhood, which was a thoughtful touch. Unfortunately, the major issue with this apartment was the cleanliness. While the bed sheets were clean, the rest of the property did not feel ready to receive guests. The apartment needs a deep clean, especially the bathrooms. There were fingerprints and palm prints on many doors and cupboards, heavy rust around the shower heads, and a significant buildup of grime around the faucets. Most of the shower heads were clogged—the rain shower was only partially functioning, and the sauna shower heads were almost completely blocked. The water pressure in the bathrooms was also very low, although it seemed fine in the kitchen. One evening, there was no hot water for one of our showers. The coffee machine barely dispensed any coffee because it appeared to be clogged from a lack of cleaning, and the balcony furniture had a noticeable layer of dirt. I don't understand how this property received such high cleanliness ratings. It may appear clean at first glance, but it is only surface level. After our stay, we found older reviews mentioning similar cleanliness concerns, and it seems this issue has not been addressed.

Perfect location

This is a perfect apartment for travelers. It is ideally located off the main piazza in Ortigia, convenient to walking everywhere in Ortigia and close to pick up points for Taxi and Uber to explore Syracuse. The apartment is clean, bathrooms modern and each room opens to the streets below for morning coffee or enjoying the sounds of the city. The host arranged a lock-box for us because we weren't sure when we would arrive and it worked perfectly. The beds were comfortable with temperature control in each room. We didn't have to walk more than a block to find great food and warm friendly hosts. One of our favorites is right under the apartment.

The location was central making exploring easy but one of the bedrooms over looked the main street and was noisy. There was no hot water until early evening which was a big problem and then it had gone by 10pm.

Great location

Lovely apartment! The location couldn’t have been better for walking out the door and being the middle of walking streets. This is an old building but the owner has updated the interior. The beds are ok, a bit hard if you are use to soft beds. There are 15 stairs up. The kitchen has pots and pans, a nice coffee maker but note NO forks or knives.

Heaven!

This apt is exactly as pictured in the photographs, and the location could not be more perfect. Just to know, one bedroom is quiet, but you do hear noises from the street in the second bedroom. But the apt is beautiful as is Ortigia, so who cares! The rental agent was also wonderful. Very welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. I do hope to return, so I hope this great review does not mean the apt will not be available next year for me!

Gorgeous apartment in the middle of lovely Ortigia

This is a very nicely appointed apartment situated in the middle of the tourist area of Ortigia. That said, it wasn't too loud with the windows closed. The apartment is great. Up one flight of steps and you're there. The two bedrooms are beautiful, each with a large bathroom. The kitchen/living area is where we hung out. We had two small issues - a blown fuse and no hot water - which were easily fixed with a phone call to the host (though the hot water heater has quite a small tank. If you're 4 people showering at the same time, take short showers!!). Overall, we loved it and hope to be back one day.

This was a terrific choice. Location was ideal for everything you could want: short walk to supermarket, adjacent to Piazza Archimedes and very good cafe for morning espresso and cornetto ritual. Farmers market a 5-10 minutes walk, piazza Duomo was 2 minutes away. We walked a great deal around the Ortigia area. While few remnants of antiquity the town has plenty of interesting buildings. The archeological park on the mainland is very impressive and within long walk distance. Via Umberto 1 has a long run of restaurants of which Agape is no 1. The ortigia area is loaded w good places to eat..one of which is adjacent to the apartment. This is our 5th visit to Siracusa over 20 plus years and all have been great fun. The apartment is very comfortable. The showers were a special treat. Having built 2 myself I could appreciate the plumbing and shower layout. Both bedrooms are nicely furnished. The fornello (electric stove top) requires a bit of getting used to but once that is accomplished…it’s fun to use. Kitchen and living room are single unit. My wife thought them a bit pushed together but warmed to them as our 2 week stay went forward. About the only thing the kitchen lacked was a microwave. Overall this was the best place we have rented. We were lucky,too, in the sense that late winter is off season so the number of tourists was limited but the weather was quite agreeable, agent was very helpful.
