Thank you very much for your interest in our vacation rental in the heart of Westerland. The apartment was extensively renovated and refurnished in 2024 with great attention to style and will delight you with its modern, Frisian charm without compromising on coziness. You can easily access the apartment via an elevator or the staircase, which is tiled with light-colored marble.<br>The living space spans approximately 65 m² and includes a kitchen area open to the large living/dining room, a bathroom with a shower, two bedrooms, and a west-facing loggia that catches the evening sun. <br>The living/dining area is flooded with natural light thanks to its west-facing orientation and numerous windows. The custom-made bedroom furnishings, solid oak parquet flooring in the bedrooms, timeless designer cabinets in the living area, numerous decorative and design elements, and a well-thought-out lighting system create a stylish ambiance. Free Wi-Fi is included as part of our amenities.<br>There is a bike storage room in the basement (8 steps) and a bike parking spot in the courtyard.<br><br>Location/Surroundings:<br>The vacation rental is located in a sought-after yet quiet central part of Westerland, just a few steps from the train station and Friedrichstraße—Westerland’s “shopping mile.” You can reach Westerland’s main beach after a pleasant stroll down Friedrichstraße. <br>Everything you need for daily life (groceries, drugstore items, breakfast rolls) is just a stone’s throw away. Public and private services (bank, medical care, cultural offerings, restaurants) are within walking distance. <br><br>Getting there and transportation:<br>The apartment is ideally located for train travelers, as the train station is only about 150 m away—no need for a taxi. Public transportation connections are excellent. The central bus station, from which you can reach all destinations on the island, is located right next to the train station. <br>Traveling by car is also no problem, as there are plenty of long-term parking options in the immediate vicinity.<br><br>Parking options: <br>Public underground parking garage for vehicles up to 1.95 m in height at “Stephanstraße 12” for approx. 3 €/day (4-minute walk) or free parking at “Schützenstraße 31” (right next to the Dorint Hotel) (13-minute walk); you may stop right in front of the apartment building’s entrance to load or unload luggage, etc.<br><br>Tourist tax: <br>This tax is mandatory; during the high season, it is 4.10 € per person per day; during the low season, it is 50% of the high-season rate. Children up to age 17 are exempt. I will take care of obtaining the tourist card for you. It will be sent to you before your trip begins, so there’s no need to wait in line, and your vacation can start right from the first day. <br><br>Linen package: <br>This is an optional add-on and includes bed linens, a shower towel, a hand towel, a bath towel, and a kitchen towel. Cost: €25 per person per stay<br><br>Legal information:<br>An “instant booking” triggers a reservation (reservation booking). A binding booking is only finalized upon signing a rental agreement.
