"We stayed at DarZahia for 3 nights in November. Zahia (the owner) was not there but sent us a number of emails in advance with things to do in Taroudant and the vicinity, which was really helpful. The staff working there Belaïd and Fatima were excellent, really friendly and made us feel at home- Belaïd was really helpful showing us around town and Fatima's food was superb. Room is basic but clean in a traditional Moroccan style. 20 mins walk to the beach or Taxi (20 Mad) There is a bar in the hotel you can take away to your room or solarium upstairs. Great little coffee bar across the road & a few restaurants just outside. Would definitely recommend as a base, if out daily exploring."

"A wonderful family run hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations. A wonderful place to get a sense of being grounded in Morocco with delicious breakfast, lovely pool and deck area. beach adjacent to property is a-ok and 20 mins walk north along coastal trail to finest beach that we founf in Southern Moroc. Will never forget the sweetness of fresh orange juice each morning and walks with owners dog, Salto!"

You get the traditional riad feel even though it's quite new but plenty of authentic Moroccan charm which makes it really cosy and friendly. We were given an update on our original booking which was a bonus. The staff couldn't be more helpful with anything we wanted.
