    Charming 5 bedroom dog friendly home with a hot tub, located across the street from the beach!

    Enjoy beautiful views from both levels of decks of this lovely home - the ocean on one side and the intracoastal waterway on the other. Designed for families and their dogs looking to take a casual break, this home is perfect for relaxing close to the beach. Take a soak in the private hot tub after a long day of swimming and building sand castles! But if you'd rather cool off in the central air-conditioning, there's plenty of comfortable seating indoors.

    The full size kitchen features all the necessary appliances you need to put together delicious meals during your vacation. The inverted floor plan has a well-appointed living space on the top level, affording the best views. All bedrooms offer smart TVs that allow live streaming. Happy Together also provides a private washer/dryer. Make sure to plan your next vacation in Holden Beach at Happy Together.

    NOTE: The fireplace is non-operational.

Perfect place for a quiet getaway. Short walk to the beach. The screened porch and gated deck was great for the dogs. Could not have asked for better! Would love to book again

Happy Together

My family and I had a great time at Happy Together. There was plenty of room for everyone, great views of the ocean and inner coastal water way, a well stocked kitchen to cook family meals and all kinds of toys and games for the grandchildren. This was a great place for a family getaway!

Loved it!

Great place with great views of ocean. Plenty of room and loved all the front and back covered porches. It is a pretty long walk to beach access for toddlers and lots of beach gear to haul. But would stay here again.

Loved this house

The new flooring is awesome. House was very clean and nicely decorated. Excellent location but the walk to the beach access was a bit of a hike. There was a beach cart in the storage shed so that was very helpful. Also enjoyed the brand new tvs and bedding. Lots of games and puzzles and books too. I would definitely stay here again

Great location

We loved our stay. This home has both the marsh views and views of ocean. The beach was a short walk and there is a cart that can be used for beach chairs. The home was well stocked except for a toaster. Loved our stay. Thanks for having us.

We loved the location with views of the ocean and the marsh. The house was roomy but was well-worn in some places - stained carpet, lacking some basics in the kitchen, thermostats were way off.

The location and views were great. The carpet is VERY dirty with many pet stains. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have any type of allergies. We had to open a few windows to air it out.

Great place for a beach vacation!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Happy Together and are so thankful for the memories made there! We will definitely be returning for future vacations. The home was spacious, well-stocked and very clean. The beach access was a close walk, with side-walk. Even our 18 month old could do the entire walk by himself. We all enjoyed the hot tub and scenic marsh views. We also enjoyed seeing the various wild-life there including lots of birds, deer and we even got to see porpoises swimming along the beach! Vacasa was helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We would absolutely recommend staying at Happy Together!

Great location but the property needs work

The beach house was at a really good location just minutes from the public beach access. The house itself was decent. However, we had a few issues. There was hardly any furniture in the balconies to enjoy the beautiful view both front and back of the property. The hot tub was not working despite there being an extra charge for it in the payment. Also, the check in process was inconvenient because there was no light at the front door.

What a Mess!

This property is definitely not up to Vacasa’s standards. The owners certainly don’t believe in upkeep. Two of the entrance doors don’t work, house exterior was so dirty and needs painting, interior carpet was old and stained everywhere, furniture was old, light bulbs were missing, and outdoor hoses sprayed you more than what you were washing. I could go on, but my advice is do not spend your money to rent this house.

Family Vacation

Vacasa was very communicative and quick to address any concerns. However we had several issues while staying at this property. They did not provide any trash bags or paper towels which most other rentals do so that was a touch annoying. When we entered we also found some cockroaches and the cleaning crew had unplugged the router and we could not find it until the next morning even with Vacasa’s help. One of the thermostats/AC units stopped working on our last night which made the upstairs muggy and unbearable. There was a storage room on the ground level which had a lot of beach stuff which was great. However it would have been nice to know this prior to our stay as it would have saved a lot of packing and room in our vehicles.

Peaceful location and good for dog-friendly home

We had a great time here and the home was large enough for two families and had incredible views. The four decks give you lots of options for viewing the marsh off the back and the ocean from the front. The house itself was about 100 yards from the public beach access, which is fine depending on what you have with you. If you are toting a lot of things or small children, it can be tough going down the busy road. If your kids are self-sufficient or if you pack light, it's fine. The home itself is large, but overall only fine. The kitchen is small and not really made to prep food for a large number of people. The furniture, pillows, duvets were all very old and outdated and the carpet was very dirty (which we informed them of and suggested a professional carpet cleaning). However, that said, this is a dog-friendly location and you don't tend to get the nicest furniture and carpets with dogs. The house did come well-stocked with games, puzzles and books. Overall, the house needed updates but the location was good and we had a great time.
