Great space if you are looking to getaway! The home is conveniently located 3 miles from Holden Beach and 35 minutes from Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC. Several golf courses near.Small private lake on premises great for fishing, quiet neighborhood. Home has plenty of parking space for multiple cars and boat. Large back yard with picnic table for family and friend gatherings. Large front and back decks with rocking chairs. Back deck has beautiful lake view.

Henry was a wonderful host, communicated in a timely manner. He was very helpful and kind when we had questions. The view of the lake from the back porch and the bedroom was really nice too. Quiet area. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere to relax and getaway for a few days like we did.

The house was absolutely beautiful and we had a great time during our stay! Everything was clean, comfortable, and in a wonderful location. We did notice quite a few large spiders and webs outside, including some black widows, so it’s something to be mindful of if you’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors. We also spotted the alligator in the pond—while it was said to be small, it was actually fairly large, so keep that in mind if you’re near the water.

Everything we needed!

Though we were only there for 3 days, we had a very comfortable stay in this home. I could see us renting for an entire week with lots of space under the house for cornhole, etc. I appreciated the card table that was stashed in the primary bedroom.We worked a puzzle and I could see playing cards and other games there. The kitchen was good. No dishwasher was really not a big deal. I also appreciated the nice kitchen linens, k cups, soaps & paper products provided. The living space is very comfy and open...lots of room to spread out. Very nice!!

An Absolute Gem Close to Holden Beach

Our family was so lucky to find this amazing home during our recent vacation. Everything from booking, to check in, the stay, and check out was seamless. The home is exactly as described in the photos, in a very private corner. It was spacious enough for adults plus teens. Our favorite was fishing in the private pond in the back of the house. We caught several crabs, fed the turtles, and got to see several birds and the little alligator. We have already reached out to book again. Henry was amazing to check in and be available if needed. Holden beach is about 10 minutes down the road, and the home is close to several great restaurants and stores. There is no wonder why this listing stays booked!

Clean, safe and beautiful

My family stayed for 5 days and loved it! Our son got to fish in the lake and our daughter got to venture out and shop. Everything about this stay was top tier other than the mattresses. They were so hard we actually went to Walmart and bought air mattresses.

Another great stay!

This was our second time staying here. The location is amazing with a short drive to the beach. The home is clean, comfortable and has amazing porches to relax on. The owner is great with communication and responds quickly with any questions. We will definitely be coming back again and again.

Amazing Vacay Spot

We arrived at this rental and were pleasantly surprised with it, based on its affordability. The house is extremely clean, and well appointed! Photos are spot on!! This 3 bedroom 2 bath home, is everything we wanted for our vacation! Entry to the home was easy, location is semi-private with a couple homes across the street who we never saw. The home was comfortable, easy to use thermostat, and updated decor/furniture. There is a washer and dryer, no dishwasher, but convenience sized dish soap. Everything was clean and in working condition. The back deck over looks a small lake, which we fished off of and caught approximately 40-60 fish (catch/release). There is some sort of crane (??) that visited daily (am/pm) and sunned itself on the deck railing! It would also walk up and down a portion of the lake, dunking its head under to catch fish! We watched turkeys fly across every morning (they roost in a tree directly across the lake and fly across each morning. Holden Beach was approximately a 8-10 min drive with Walmart about the same. (There is also a Dollar General, Food Lion, and CVS close.) Communication with Henry was also pleasant and to the point, with questions answered quickly and clearly. My family would definitely rec this rental to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway!!

Grdat house in a beautiful location!

The house was beautiful and very clean. Spacious and 6 of us were able to sleep comfortably. The beds were comfortable and the blankets and pillows provided were also comfortable. Being able to use the washer and dryer was nice and made it so we didn't need to pack a whole lot for our trip. The description of the home was acurate and honestly the pictures don't do it justice, it is very nice. The drive to the beach was only about 10/15 minutes, easy to find. The neighborhood was quiet and the few neighbors we saw were friendly. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful home

Had a great time staying here it’s nice home and if you are looking for something that is close to the beach but not right on the beach front this is for you. The beach is about a 10 minute drive and stores, restaurants etc. are also about 10-20 minutes. The host communicated very well and makes everything go smooth. Highly recommend!
