Searching for the perfect vacation home on Sullivan's Island? Something with a bit of mystery, the perfect beach charm, and an unbeatable location? Well, you've found it in this 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom home ideal for a big family vacation to the beach! This historic Sullivan's Island home is only across the street from the ocean, and also within walking distance of the island's entertainment district with dining and shopping!

You'll notice that this house offers a storied feel, along with a modern vibe as it has gone through several upgrades, such as new furniture and décor, a remodeled hallway bathroom, and a redone kitchen! When you step into the main living area of the home, you'll be greeted by a handsome space with comfortable furniture, beachy décor, and a large flat-screen TV with cable access. The best part about this house is that there is also an additional den with another 42” flat-screen TV, giving your group multiple areas to unwind and relax—you could even have one for the kids and one for the adults!

The fully equipped kitchen is like a modern work of art, with sleek wood flooring, granite countertops, and a beautiful backsplash. High-quality, stainless-steel appliances and new cookware give you the ability to cook up anything you'd like. Coffee lovers will adore this kitchen, as it offers both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker. The kitchen opens to a charming breakfast area and a big dining table that can sit up to 12 people. Just off the kitchen you'll find a laundry room, along with a convenient extra refrigerator for storing more beverages.

With five bedrooms, this home has plenty of space. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed and has the luxury feature of its own bathroom. In the second room, there are two queen-sized beds, while the third room offers two twin beds—both rooms share a hallway bathroom. The fourth bedroom has another two twin beds, while the fifth bedroom has a king-sized bed—these two rooms also share a bathroom. With so many sleeping options, this home is perfect for a big family vacation!

You'll never get tired of the outside spaces of this home, which include a large screened-in porch which covers the entire front of the house and is furnished with ample rocking chairs, multiple outdoor dining sets, and a quaint porch swing. Beneath the house you'll find an outdoor beach shower with hot water, as well as a BBQ grill!

This property also includes a $250 credit to order beach gear when you book a stay between 3 and 14 nights!! There are many options to choose from including bicycles, beach chairs, beach carts/wagons, coolers, umbrellas, kayaks, paddleboards, etc.! Our partnered company, VayK Gear, will contact you 45 days prior to your arrival so you can place your order and they will deliver all equipment to your rental property. Just another added bonus for booking through Carroll Realty to enhance your vacation experience.

A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 5 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 25 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $1000 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time.

ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a starter set of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath / dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you may need to purchase more of these items after you arrive.

Amazing week at the beach

What an absolutely beautiful home! Very well appointed, comfortable, and with room for everybody. Rainy afternoons on the screen porch were ideal. This house has everything you need for a relaxing stay at the beach!

A delightful week on Sullivan's Island

This house was perfect!! Great location close to the beach, but in a quiet area. The kitchen was very well equipped...we even had a beverage fridge!!! The porches with fans were the perfect spot to relax. We had a great time here and would love to come again!

For a relaxing vacation, this is great!

Loved the porch! Lots of room and comfy seating. Nice separation of bedrooms, and liked having the second sitting area. Kitchen had everything we needed. If you want an unpretentious “ classic” place to stay with great beach access.... this is it.

Perfect family beach house

We had 8 family members/ 3 generations stay here for a Charleston wedding. So perfect. The house is spread out enough to provide privacy when needed, yet had large enough gathering spaces to accommodate the group. Our only regret was that wedding commitments didn't let us enjoy the property fully. We want to come back! The house is perfectly situated; you really can't get any closer to the beach, and it's an easy walk into "town" (3 blocks) to enjoy the restaurants, etc. Sullivan's island is also just a very short drive into downtown Charleston across the coolest bridge in the country. So glad we picked this place. This house felt like home right away; like our family beach house but with better weather. If you like chrome and modern- stay away; this isn't for you. But if you like bead board, wide, old shingles, nice old wood floors, a gorgeous wraparound porch, and a feeling of ease (with a modern kitchen thrown in), then you've found the right spot. This was our family's first visit to Charleston, but not our last. Thank you very, very much. p.s. Carroll Realty provides a great phone app that we found very useful. Checkout procedures, trash pickup, concierge links, etc were all there, in one spot, on our phones. Definitely a value-added app.

Comfortable home, family friendly in the perfect spot

We loved staying in this spacious, well appointed beach home. The plastic connecting the toilet handle to the chain broke during our stay, and unfortunately it was not repaired. Other than that, no complaints!

Perfect beach vacation!

What a fantastic house! Our traveling party of five adults and four kids thoroughly enjoyed spending a week here. The porch was everyone's favorite -- spacious and comfortable, we all loved having breakfast out here in the mornings, and the children played on the porch all week long. (I do echo another comment that ceiling fans would make the porch even better.) The outdoor shower was super convenient, and the kitchen was beautifully renovated with everything we could need. And the layout was perfect for our three families. Everyone had enough privacy and bathroom space, which is important when traveling with large groups! Not only was the house itself wonderful, but its proximity to the beach and the restaurants in town cannot be beat. It was easy to hop into town for lunch or to take a quick evening walk on the beach. We hardly used our cars! I can't say enough great things about this house. We truly had a perfect beach vacation, and if we travel back to Sullivan's Island as a large group again, this house will be our first choice accommodation!

Wonderful home, comfortable, signifocant updates without loosing the Charleston charm

So close to the beach and Charleston. Kitchen had more than sufficient equipment, mostly new appliances. The house is split into two sections which gave our children some privacy. The area was very peaceful even though it is highly residential. We will return.

Overall a very memorable time in a comfortable home

The location of this home is simply perfect. We were just across the street from access to the beach. The home was quite comfortable and rustic. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, but we were within walking distance of some very good restaurants. Our favorite place to gather was on the large screened porch. The way the rooms were divided worked out wonderfully for our needs. This home is older, but that is part of its charm. I would have given it 5 stars, but one of the twin beds broke (not very sturdy construction) and for a family of cooks (with one professional chef, plus it was Thanksgiving) the kitchen was barely adequate. But we brought some of our own equipment and that helped a great deal. It was clean, comfortable sleeping and plenty of space for all of us to spread out. We had 11 people and our spoiled Jack Russell Terrier. We hope to make this a new family tradition. We are so grateful to have found this home!

Overall a good location with plenty of space for a gathering of 10 but needs some TLC

We had a great time in Sullivan's Island. The proximity of beach and restaurants was a big plus. While the property did have some shortcomings it was comfortable with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their own space. There is always 10% about any place that will not be what you wish it to be. Most of the issues were stated in other reviews and did not diminish our enjoyment. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Perfect for a group

This was the perfect house for a girls weekend at the beach! Tons of beds and porch space for chilling. Classic Sullivan's Island style. And steps away from beach and restaurants. Loved it.
