The Space:
Two private indoor activity areas—all-weather FUN!

At Millhart Family Lodge, two separate, private activity areas give your group room to play together, whatever Ohio’s weather brings. Shoot baskets, challenge the kids to pickleball, or gather everyone for volleyball—all without leaving your vacation rental. Both spaces are heated and air-conditioned, so a rainy afternoon or snowy weekend can become part of the fun.
- INDOOR SPORTS COURT: Half-court basketball, pickleball, and volleyball. All sports equipment is provided.
- SEPARATE GAME ROOM: Ping pong, carpet ball, Pop-A-Shot, video games, a large-screen smart TV, and a high-top table.

COUNTRYSIDE VIEWS NEAR SUGARCREEK
Spend the day enjoying Ohio’s Amish Country, from shops and bakeries to local dining and nearby golf course—or stay in for another round of games. Back at the lodge, watch cows grazing in the neighboring pasture as dinner cooks on the propane grill. Share a meal at the picnic table, then pull a camp chair around the fire pit for conversation beneath an open, star-filled sky.

Enjoy a home-cooked meal, local takeout, or snacks between games, with two full-size refrigerators and a kitchen ready for whatever you have planned. After some friendly competition, settle into the comfortable living area with fireplace for a movie or the big game on one of two large screen smart TV’s.

ROOM FOR DAYTIME CELEBRATIONS
Bring family and friends together for a birthday, reunion, or other approved daytime gathering of up to 75 people, including overnight guests. Tables and chairs are available for setup in the indoor sports court. Advance written approval, a separate event agreement, and additional fees are required. Message us prior to booking to discuss your gathering.

BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
- Millhart sleeps up to 12 across one private bedroom and two shared sleeping areas.
Main floor
- Private bedroom: One king bed, closet, TV, and countryside view.
- Living room: One full-size sleeper sofa in the shared living space.
- Full bathroom: Shared hallway access with a tub/shower combination; not an en-suite.
Lower level
- Shared game room: One queen Murphy bed, two twin daybeds with two twin trundles, and one queen futon.
- Half bathroom: Toilet and sink. Guests use the main-floor bathroom for bathing.
The living room and game room are shared sleeping spaces without private bedroom doors. With one private bedroom and one full bathroom, the layout is best for families and groups comfortable sharing. Pack and play with linens is provided.

Guest Access:
Your reservation includes exclusive use of the lodge’s guest living spaces, indoor sports court, game room, and designated outdoor seating and gathering areas. These amenities are not shared with another booking.
Both levels have their own exterior entrance without entry steps, and an interior staircase connects the floors. Guests can park near either entrance.
The lower-level barn area, separate garage/shed, pasture, and other restricted areas are not available for guest use. Do not enter the pasture or cross its electric fence.
Another occupied home is located across the shared driveway. Its yard and outdoor spaces are private.

The Neighborhood:
Country views with Sugarcreek conveniences nearby - Millhart is set among the rolling hills outside Sugarcreek, giving you a countryside setting close to the shopping, dining, and attractions of Ohio’s Amish Country. About 3 miles to the Village of Sugarcreek where you will find grocery shopping, a meat shop, Dollar General, and local restaurants. Visit downtown to see the World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock, browse the shops, or enjoy a meal at popular local spots such as Bags Restaurant and Park Street Pizza.

Golf and clubhouse dining - Plan a round at nearby Black Gold Golf Club, then meet everyone for tacos and margaritas at Habaneros Tacos and Margaritas, located inside the clubhouse. You don’t have to play golf to enjoy a meal and countryside views from the restaurant.

Wineries, breweries, and local flavors - Spend an afternoon at Hans’ Place Restaurant & Winery, where you can sample Swiss Heritage wines and enjoy a meal, or visit Breitenbach Wine Cellars for local wines and café dining. Explore the craft beer scene at Hoodletown Brewing Company in Dover and The Pilot Brewhouse in New Philadelphia. Getting Around:
A car is needed to explore Sugarcreek and the surrounding Amish Country towns, restaurants, shops, and attractions. Uber and Lyft availability is limited and should not be relied on. If you need transportation for a wedding or group outing, we can provide some recommendations.

- Two exterior cameras record video and audio in the parking and fire pit areas.
- Total cost of the reservation varies with date and number of guests.

HOUSE RULES
- Primary booking guest must be at least 25 years old and will be required to complete ID verification. A link will be sent to your email 60 minutes after booking.
- Include all overnight guests (2 years and older) and dogs in your reservation.
- Anyone who is not a registered overnight guest requires advance written approval to visit the property. All visitors must leave by 10 p.m.
- Event Information: Friends and family may visit during your stay with advance written approval. Gatherings accommodate up to 75 people total, including overnight guests, require a separate agreement and additional fees, and must take place between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Please contact us before booking to discuss your plans.
- Up to two well-trained dogs that know each other are permitted for $150 per dog, per stay. Leash outdoors, crate when left alone, keep off beds, and clean up waste.
- NO INDOOR SMOKING/VAPING (including the indoor sports court) AND NO LOUD PARTIES - failure to follow these rules could result in immediate eviction.
- Quiet hours are 11 p.m.–7 a.m.
