"Es un hotel sencillo en Gales, tiene un restaurante - pub bueno, cuarto amplio y bien iluminado y un parqueadero comodo para el carro. No hay mucho que hacer alrededor si no tienes carro. Queda mas o menos a 1 km del pueblo, en la noche el camino es muy oscuro. En general una buena estadía, el personal mas preocupado por el pub que por el hotel, pero de resto bien."

"A very pleasant surprise as a solo guest. Needed an overnight stay for an event in Abergavenny, went with no expectations, just needed a comfortable, clean place and that's what I got. Yes the place needs a bit of tidying up, decorating, updating of furniture but that doesn't bother me as long as everything works for it's purpose which it did. "A nice big room with ample parking. In a quiet location just outside the town. No staff on site but a key lock to each room. Spoke to staff on the phone who were very helpful to check everything was ok. "

"I've stayed at The King's Head Hotel six times in the last two years. I always have a good visit. The rooms are nice and spacious. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The cooked breakfast is wonderful and some really good curries in the evening. I'll definitely be going back."

"The hotel is quiet with extensive areas for guests. The Leisure suite is excellent with sauna, steam room and a spacious, well equipped gym. Breakfast has lots of choice although the options have definitely been reduced since we were last there 6-8 years ago. Parking is plentiful and the views across the valley are beautiful. "The breakfast was lovely. There’s no air-conditioning so you’ll have to crack the window. There’s some stairs, so just be aware that you need to carry your luggage up some stairs. The staff are very helpful and friendly. "

"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "
