  • Little Timber Creek Cabin es una acogedora cabaña de dos pisos con cocina completa, baño completo con bañera y ducha, sala de estar con un nuevo HDTV con programación satelital y una chimenea de leña. El porche cubierto frontal mira hacia el pozo de fuego y el arroyo, y cuando el agua está alta, se pueden escuchar los susurros del agua del arroyo a medida que fluyen. La cubierta trasera aloja la parrilla de gas y ha sido completamente reconstruida para acomodar un nuevo jacuzzi. Arriba cuenta con un dormitorio de la reina de estilo loft. Little Timber tiene calefacción y aire acondicionado, y se admiten mascotas (solo perros, una por reserva).

    Al cruzar el pequeño puente sobre la superficie de Timber Creek, busque señales que lo lleven a Little Timber, que se encuentra un poco lejos de Big Timber. Little Timber está a la izquierda, y Big Timber está recto / a la derecha. ¡Little Timber tiene su propio pozo de fuego junto al arroyo!
    Las cabañas de Timber Creek están ubicadas en el centro de Valle Crucis, a solo unos kilómetros de la tienda General Mast General Store y del parque Valle Crucis. Boone y Banner Elk están a menos de diez millas de distancia, y Blowing Rock está a unas trece millas de distancia.

    *** Little Timber Creek Cabin y la vecina Big Timber Creek Cabin se pueden reservar juntas por un total de 4 dormitorios y 3 baños, y pueden dormir hasta 8 personas. We arrived and found out there was a problem with water. neighbour cabin guests told us about it while they were relocating. it would have been nice if we would have been contacted prior our 6 pm arrival

We loved our stay at Little Creek Cabin! The cabin was very cozy and provided the perfect getaway for us and our dogs. We met friends in Banner Elk and visited The Mast General store and had eaten at many restaurants. We plan to go back this summer as well

Peaceful Retreat

The Cabin is nice and cozy. We really enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the running stream in front of the cabin. The location is pretty much perfectly in between all of the activites in the area. We would be willing to stay here again.

Smaller than I thought

The property is alot smaller than I thought, its quite tight with just 2 people. But it is quaint, clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great weekend getaway

3 ski resorts about 30 minutes a way. Nice little cascading creek beside the cabin that you can enjoy from the front porch or the hot tub. Quiet and cozy. Great for a relaxing getaway with your partner. Best for 2 people as I think anymore would be a little tight.

Great New Year Getaway

We stayed at the cabin for 4 nights to ring in 2023. Beautiful, serene setting and an Amazing Fireplace! Enjoyed daily fires, hot tub, beautiful stars and a glorious moon. There is a creek on the property which soothing waters can be heard all day. We enjoyed reading on the porch and a few hikes up the road and to the river downhill (a short drive).

Cabin was small but suitable. Not aware it was located with another cabin. Neighbors were load and annoying on Wednesday of our stay but other than that ok.

Anniversary Getaway

Cute house on a beautiful property overlooking a creek that is very soothing to hear from the porch. Lots of wildlife. The only thing that could have been better was the bed mattress. But otherwise, exactly what we were expecting and the property was actually better than we expected.

Great Getaway!

I was glad the lights were left on for our arrival. The roads were a bit bumpy and scary up there. We can't wait to book up here again hopefully during the nicer warmer weather. The property manager was great and answered emails within a half hour.

Exactly what we needed!

We had an amazing time in this little cabin. It was perfect for me and my spouse. The cabin was clean aside from a couple bugs (the cabin is in the middle of woods, so what’re you gonna do?). Our main reason for going was to fly fish so the Timber Creek private access was very helpful. The hot tub made a long day of fishing so nice, and to top it off we woke up to a visit from some deer right outside on our last morning.

I sent an email to the property owners after our arrival and they stated they would handle the issues I acknowledged in it so I will not mention any of that as they now know of it and plan to handle. The things we encountered after the email though. We knew the cabin would be on the smaller scale but it was smaller than originally thought based on the photos. The driveway is not ideal if you have a larger sized vehicle and it could be helpful if driveway photos were included in the listing. We did not need 4WD but it is definitely an incline to the cabin. The "private access" to the river and field area they advertise is another steep pull off from the main road and the field is not maintained. If you have kids with you, river swimming/playing is not accessible from this point because you have no good spot to get in or out of the water. Possibly only good for if you plan to fish from the bank. There are neighbors to the cabin that allow their dogs to roam free (2 large breeds), one of which is more aggressive than the other as it had me cornered outside the cabin and growling until my husband appeared and scared it off. It seems as though these dogs have maybe been fed there before or roam there often. As for the cabin itself, it seems more geared for a couples getaway even though it has a pullout sofa bed and states it can sleep 4 but didn't feel fit for a family retreat. It is a cute and cozy cabin but not ideal if you need adequate space for luggage and such.

Sugar Grove Cabin

We enjoyed this small cabin. It was clean and everything was in working order. The driveway is incredibly steep, so be prepared for that. The view was nice and it was certainly a nice, quiet spot for a get away. Bring your own towels, the management did provide 2, but we needed some for the hot tub, and bring your own wine glasses if that's important to you. All appliances were new and worked. Overall, this was a great spot!

We Love the little Cabin.The location was great small town life without the rat race. No store’s nearby so you need to be prepared with food.There’s a couple of restaurants we ate at..The Targan Restaurant was great . But with that said the outside furniture needs an update and the swing is rotted and will hurt someone. We will go back !!!!

Cozy getaway

This property is everything you need for some rest and relaxation. Cozy cabin, hot tub, and fire pit by a beautiful stream. Loved it. Definitely coming back.

Great cabin. Needs to be cleaned

This is a great little cabin for two. The only issue is the cleanliness of the property. The front porch was covered in dirt and the outdoor furniture was too dirty to sit in. We spent some time sweeping the porches and cleaning the outdoor sitting cushions. The inside of the cabin was unkept. The general appearance inside the cabin was dusty and an accumulation of dirt and dust on the stair hand rails, behind doors and under furniture was visible. The tub/shower was not clean and lacked a starter kit of soap. No hands towels for the bathroom was also an issue. Another thing is that a starter kit of dish soap or cleaning pad is not provided. The prior guest must not have purchased any cleaning supplies so all the dishes and silverware were visibly dirty and greasy feeling. Overall we had a great time and the cabin is a wonderful space but the housekeeping and provisions for cleaning are lacking.
