The Nordlicht vacation home is fully equipped so you can arrive and start your vacation feeling relaxed right away. With 2 bedrooms (one double bed and one single bed that pulls out, ideal for children), it can accommodate a total of 4 people. The living and dining area features a like-new, fully equipped kitchen. Smoking and pets are not permitted in the property. Additional amenities include a TV in the living area, a bathroom with a toilet and shower, and a washing machine. The vacation home also features a sunroom. Outside, there is a covered patio right on the canal and a grill. For a fee, a rowboat (including oars) and two stand-up paddleboards can be provided. The property is fenced, but access to the canal is not additionally secured. A security deposit must be paid in cash. The Nordlicht vacation home is within walking distance (1 km away) of the Großes Meer. The property is located on a dead-end street in a very quiet area. The Großes Meer features a paddleboarding and padel station. There, for a fee, you can enjoy various activities such as windsurfing, canoeing/kayaking, or biking. Additionally, there is a large children’s playground by the lake. Feel free to explore the so-called “3-Meere-Weg” by bike or e-bike. Nature lovers will find plenty to enjoy here along the Großes Meer, the Hieve, and the Loppersumer Meer. If you’re interested in cultural history, there’s the Moormuseum in Moordorf, the Kunsthalle and the Otto Huus in Emden, the Historical Museum in Aurich, and the East Frisian Tea Museum in Norden. There’s plenty to discover here. The town of Norddeich is about a 30-minute drive away. From there, you can take the ferry to the islands of Norderney and Juist.
