We arrived at the hotel to be told the hotel was closed and that we were being relocated to the Alla Fava Hotel on the other side of the island. We were also told that it was only a 10 min walk, but it was actually a 35 min. walk during Italy's July heat wave. We requested that the hotel pay for our water taxi but they refused. The Alla Fava has no AC, which we had paid for. The rooms were very simple, we were supplied a small fan and slept/sweat it out for two nights at the hotel. When we arrived at Alla Fava, there was no one working at the hotel, just keys on the front desk with our names on them. No one showed up until the next morning, making us realise there was also no one watching the hotel that night. I would not recommend this hotel.

Best hotel in Verona and feels like a home away from home. Staff are the absolute best. Rooms are comfortable, classy, and spacious. Breakfast is delicious. Location cannot be beat. The hotel is also beautiful, a work of art.

Our experience can only be translated in one multilingual word WOW This have been my 3 rd visit to Venezia myself and i have not experienced this type of service , quality and wow factor . The establishment , its history and location was only the beginning of our Wow factor. I can honestly say the entire staff brought it to a level that i never saw before and can only dream to receive in the future again .
