Small, cozy home with great views located on the snowmobile & atv trails, near local fishing hot spots, Carmody Park to launch your boat, Jellystone Campground, Haines Beach & Potawatomi State Park.

There is plenty of room to park your Atv or boat.

This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home. The first floor contains the living room, kitchen and a full bathroom. In the living room there is a pull out sofa sleeper. Upstairs there is a small nook with a desk, washer & dryer and two bedrooms. The first bedroom has full bunk beds with a twin trundle bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed.

We have a fire pit and charcoal grill, you provide your own wood and charcoal.

We have a security camera on the side of the garage monitoring the driveway, it will be on during your stay.

Disappointed

While I knew this property was basic it was rather disappointing to find out the water from the tap is unusable. It was off color and smelled horrible, forcing us to use bottled water for everything and taking a shower was rough. We also were hoping to grill a few nights, and while there is a charcoal grill present, it is rusted beyond usable.

We loved the house and the location. Jennie is very communicative, and there was tons of information in the guest book. We had a very pleasant stay. Downtown Sturgeon Bay was a quick drive down the road. We will be back!

Peace and Tranquility

I really enjoyed this property as a base for exploring door country and visiting friends in Sister Bay. It’s only 10 minutes from Sturgeon Bay but isolated conpletely fron any noise, tourists, or commotion. The house has all the amenities you will want including a very well stocked kitchen, a huge outdoor space with a grill and firepit, and a very cosy master bedroom. The price of this house is extremely affordable, especially when compared to other options in the area. Jennie was a superb host and you will have no issues communicating with her if there’s anything you need during your stay. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and I hope to come back at sone point.

Weekend trip to the peninsula

We came up for a celebration of life at Horseshoe Bay and couldn’t have been happier with our stay there. Bed was firm but we slept well. The owner was very friendly and very nice to deal with- we had a great time and we enjoyed our visit. We will stay there again and would recommend it for everyone

Nice and quiet, out of town. Having a fire was nice. You can pick up wood and firestarter a couple houses down, self serve! Inside was decent. Could update the futon, as it is hard to turn back in to a couch. And remote batteries for the tv upstairs were dead. But other than that had everything we needed. As far as essentials, Extra chairs for the lake.and the price was decent.

Great Rental Away From The Hustle & Bustle

We booked a last minute trip to DC with my family (kids 14, 6, and 4) and this house was perfect. It was away from the middle of last Sturgeon Bay but close enough that it wasn't inconvenient to jump in the car to go to town. The house was extremely clean and the perfect size for us 5. It had a queen bedroom with a small bunk room next to the main bedroom. Our teen took the futon couch downstairs and it worked out. The property has a nice picnic table and fire pit for evenings after exploring all day. Really enjoyed this stay and would stay again.

Not bad for the price

The 2 cons were - there were quite few bugs in the house -earwigs (I even brought 1 home in my clothes) and the fact that the second "bedroom" has no window, I believe it's a big no no in case of emergency. Othervise, for the price and the fact that they allow pets was decent place to stay. Also the pilows and matresses could be comfier. Also, I'm very greatful that the owner was very responcive when I was locked out the house with a 4 mo old baby and no phone (left it in the house) and couldn't remember the code. I went to the neighbours house, they called the owner (thank God somebody had their phone) and thanks to their quick responce I was let in. Thank you so much for that, because my grandson was about to get hungry and tired, so I needed to get into the house. Thank you again and I properly thanked the neighbours too.

Quick Fishing Getaway

Property was exactly like it was described and pictured. The house was very clean and welcoming. The property manager made check in a breeze and was also very fast to respond to questions not only about the property, but the surrounding area. Location was within 15 minutes to numerous boat launches in the area. The road the property was on was very quiet with very light traffic. I would definitely book at this location again, or other properties the property manager runs. Very impressed with the property and manager's dedication to providing a five star experience.

Great Property

My girlfriend and I stayed here while on a trip to Door County. The rental was decently secluded, away from town, but pretty close to lots of attractions. We spent most of our time at Peninsula State Park, which was only about a 45 minute drive away. The rental was very clean and Jennie was very nice and quick to reapond. Would stay here again.
