While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. The hotel is well located, next to a gas station and a nice market. It has available parking. The service is not great. Breakfast is very basic, but that's across all Scotland. Late night personnel are a bit rude.
