  • Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. The Mallard House is cozy lakefront home, perfect for a couple celebrating a special day, or a family creating memories that last a lifetime. The interior is artfully decorated in soothing colors. Everyone loves the flow of the open design of the living, dining and kitchen. The outdoors is a retreat-like setting. It is perfect for reading a book, taking a hike, kayaking or fishing.
    Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m., NO smoking except in outdoor areas, No parties are allowed; Daytime family gatherings are allowed with prior approval of the host. Lock up at checkout.

A clean and cozy house! It offers a game room, some basic supplies, and all the equipment and boats needed for fishing and lake outings! The owner, Carol, is very kind and helpful! We’ll definitely be back!

Spring break

Took the Two grandkids for a couple days for their Spring Break and this was a Perfect place. Awesome host and we will definitely return for future stays

This is a great remote location with a peaceful vibe. The location was clean, decorated well, and just as described. Highly recommend if you are looking to disconnect. The host was very responsive.

Great place

This was a great place to stay for a couple of days away. The ponds are awesome. This was the most well-stocked Vrbo type house we’ve been to. Owners were very nice and accommodating too.

Safe quiet enounter with nature, secluted and private, close small local town and locals are friendly. We love it. Cant wait to go back! Beautiful House so cozy and peaceful.

Excellent respite away from it all. Peaceful setting and a wonderful home with a giant covered porch to sit outside and relax under. House was immaculate and had everything you might need.

Short Getaway

We stayed two nights and this place was perfect for us. Had the weather been warmer we would have taken advantage of the kayaks. We enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels from the private back porch. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Wow! What a gem so close to Oklahoma City. Luxury accommodations, peaceful outdoor activities and such a responsive host. Would be perfect for family reunions. The houses have everything you need to cook, grill and just relax. And the fur babies also felt so welcomed. My family is already talking about coming back. Thanks Carol you have thought of everything needed!

Five Stars!!

We enjoyed our stay at this house. The seclusion of this property made it a peaceful place to relax & explore. It was a short drive to downtown Stratford & other bigger cities. We tend to overpack for trips but this house was stocked with everything we needed. It was also very clean & spacious. Carol, the property host, was welcoming & easy to communicate with.

Weekend Escape

Needed a last minute getaway for the family. Luckily this place lined up perfectly. Mallard house was the right choice for a family of 4. Kitchen has all the tools to make a sandwhich or a 4 course meal. Unfortunately it was too cold to the host of outside activities offered.

Weekday get away

I was very impressed with the complete stay. Ms.Carol was an amazing host. If you have questions, she answered them immediately. This was truly relaxing. From the kayaks and boats to the whirlpool and serene scenery. My group and I most definitely would stay here again. Thank you for your kind spirit and your beautiful retreat Ms. Carol. That made the whole experience pleasant.

Excellent Accomodations

My daughter and grandkids met me there to attend a family celebration. it was only for one night but we regretted not staying longer. It was a fabulous property- very peaceful and a great place for the kids to run around after a long drive. The lake was lovely and the swings were so much fun! The house was beautiful, comfortable and very well kept. We began planning our next trip. We will be back when we visit family in the area. Thank you!!!
