With a luxurious open floor plan with the kitchen, dining room, and anchored by the gorgeous fireplace and living room with dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the beauty of the mountains into the home, screened-in three season porch and an outdoor deck, you are in for a getaway you're not going to forget.

von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort:
The Villa is situated privately on the 2,500-acre grounds of the von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort in idyllic Stowe, VT and boasts miles of trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, and outdoor joy.

You will enjoy FREE access to all resort amenities: pool, fitness center, hot tub, tennis and pickle ball courts, hiking trails, rock climbing wall, yoga studio, farming elements (sheep, cattle, maple syrup harvesting), and much more!

Aficionados respect the Austrian style beers of the von Trapp Brewing & Bierhall, which is within skiing or hiking/biking distance from the villa. The food is excellent with lots of kid-friendly activities onsite.

The resort has an evolving schedule of enriching seasonal activities (published on the website), such as horse-drawn wagon rides, tours of the property, baking classes, craft-making opportunities, yoga classes, seasonal evening campfires with s'mores, guided hiking tours, and more.

Beautiful house and amazing location

We loved our girls family trip to the Villas. Ranging in age from 18 to 85, there was something for everyone. We had a wonderful time. The house is just as it is pictured - amazing. JP was a great host — responsive and kind. Would recommend to anyone. Was sad to leave.

Great location but not so great check in; mgmt company

Overall great location with views and combination of 3 units in Villa provided enough space for family; lots of space to play in snow right outside. Arrived after dark, check in at lodge was not a good experience (many non-working keys and authorized other family member to check in first and that was not communicated to other team members at lodge front desk), Villa was not clearly marked in dark and covered in snow. Owner is very responsive to messages however most of the interaction during stay is with the property mgmt company utilized (Stowe Homes) was not a good experience. Had to call 3 times (twice before and once during) to have high chair brought up from locked storage in villa, stairway light burned out right away to lower floor creating a safety issue (eventually fixed), 1 pack n play had odor; garbage disposal backed up (manual disposal), lower level has no floor/table lamps and so its either very bright or dark (no in between), unless you are technical Smart TVs could be a challenge to operate and lower level is separate from the main villa using an outside door only (not clear on description). 1st floor suite bed/mattress topper roomy and comfortable but suite was very dusty/cobwebs incl. dead mosquito in door valance. Many bags of trash in garage; not picked up until mid-stay. Kitchen was well stocked but no aluminum foil/saran wrap. Coffee machine (Nespresso) was a hit. Overall it worked but expected more given high price and multiple issues.

Great Family House

This is the house that goes on and on! We used this villa as our base home, and rented another villa for the rest of my family! We were all so comfortable gathering here each evening for meals and family Time! Lots of space, inside and out! The kids worked on crafts and puzzles,Played cards; tubed on the hill, close to Trapp amenities and the mountain. The house provided everything we needed for our week long Christmas stay! Working with JP was great! Wonderful communicator! Great fireplace for our cold days. Thank you !

Great stay in snowy Stowe!

Group of 7 (4 adults and 3 teens) coming together for reunion. Booked the entire property. Just a fantastic experience from start to finish. Comfortable beds, amazing views. Took advantage of all that the villa, the main lodge and marvelous Stowe has to offer. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Superb villa for a group with great amenities

Beautiful property, very comfortable for a group. Bedrooms are spacious and the “great room” was very comfortable hanging out in the evening for those of us who stayed at the condo plus hosting extra friends for dinner. Enough elbow room to comfortably cook, eat, play games and play music all at the same time. Such nice extra touches too like excellent coffee! Thank you JP, we will stay here again.

Outstanding property fully equipped

We love Stowe and it doesn’t get any better than staying in a Villa at the Trapp Family Lodge. Great combination of very comfortable and well appointed gathering space, and privacy with each room having an en suite bath. Unit was very well appointed. Instructions and communications were very clear. Host was super responsive. Amenities at Trapp Lodge fitness center were appreciated by all guests. Overall-a super memorable week!

Impressive views from multiple rooms. Clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Walkable access to the Von Trapps property/amenities and a short drive to town, the Stowe resort and restaurants were big plusses.

Great multi-family property

Property is a great fit for 2-3 families. 3 main bedrooms are very large and separate downstairs bunk room is a good place for kids to hang away from parents. Property owner was also extremely responsive throughout the stay. Highly recommend!

Amazing home!

Such an amazing house and the host was very communicative. You cannot beat the amenities that come with the Trap property. The house had a great floorplan with gorgeous vistas from the large living room windows. Kids had a blast sledding in the back yard. Highly recommend!

Ideal Stowe Experience

You can’t ask for a better location, and this well appointed beautiful home has all of the comforts and luxuries you could want. The location is 5-10 minutes to any Stowe village destinations, 10-15 to the lifts, and 2 minutes from The von Trapp Lodge and all the resort amenities. I would highly recommend this property.

The property is truly amazing. The entire home is clean and beautifully put together. If your looking for not just a house in Stowe, but an unforgettable experience, this is your place. The owners were responsive and excellent to work with as well.
