"The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. However, We expected a Marriott property to be better maintained. The kitchen cabinet was precariously hanging on the wall, almost falling off! This looked quite dangerous and we were scared to reach in for any dishes. The sofa cushions were old and sank down, making it difficult to sit. The bed was so old and the mattress sank down so much that we were both very stiff when we got up! "True to its name this is a garden site and the grounds are wonderful. Most hotels jam-pack their gyms, making it impractical for more than a handful of people and the equipment will be in the way of your workout if you plan to use anything but a stationary machine. My room had a troubled shower faucet which required extra force to make it work taking away that Hilton brand experience."

"Our air condintioner didn’t work the front desk clerk Vanessa said she was sorry they were all booked and no other room to move us too. Then she went and got us a fan for our room. Today when we checked out they gave us a 50% refund on our room. Vanessa was very good and went above to help us"
