"This was our first time staying at Curt's cabin on Big Sissabagama Lake and it was wonderful. The cabin has a cozy, woodsy vibe that's warm and welcoming. The entire place was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy, Curt was responsive, and the Wi-Fi worked great. We were able to bring our 7-month old puppy, which as an added bonus. We definitely recommend this cabin!"

"Had a wonderful time on Sand Lake! I was initially disappointed that the lake access was across the road, but it was fine. The grandkids know never to cross a road without an adult, so it was a perfect barrier to the lake for them. The sand and shallow water went on forever and they absolutely loved being able to jump off the dock all the way to the end. We didn't have to worry about them taking the floaties too far out and they loved trying to catch minnows. The configuration of the house...

" 8 adults ages 50-86 enjoyed our annual reunion at the Lakeside Chalet. Host communication was excellent, check in and out went flawlessly and the chalet was clean and well furnished. Kitchen was adequately stocked but short of a few essentials such as a colander. Stairs to enter the chalet from the parking area were very steep and the parking situation was tight which the host had warned us about, but we managed. Lake was overgrown, as is usual toward the end of summer, which made swimming...

"Easy check-in and lovely, pristine cabin that smells like cedar. New, well-equipped and comfortable with great views on a quiet lake. We really enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks, as well as the flat top grill,fire pit and ping-pong table. Very nice kitchen with big island. Reliable internet.Easy short drive to Hayward and Spooner. Highly recommended!"

"Check in was smooth and easy. Beautiful view of the lake. Our family really enjoyed the use of kayaks and canoe. And dining room table and chairs could fit all of us for all our meals. Great location to Hayward for groceries, the best candy store, and huge delicious scoops of ice cream in several stores!"
