Breathtaking Views! Where doing nothing IS something. You're On Lake Time! RELAX

Situated on property with gated entrance, you will experience privacy and seclusion, yet be within minutes from town. Construction accented with reclaimed barn wood and tin makes this unique elevated cabin a one of a kind fantastic lake getaway place. Over 900 sq feet, the split level floor plan offers upper and lower private bedrooms, both with window views of nature from the tree line to the shores of the beautiful Lake Eufaula. All bedding and linens are provided. The large living/dinning/kitchen open concept allows for easy entertaining, comfortable lounging, plenty of room for games, and 50 inch TV with satellite for movies, sports or music. Ceiling fans, AC/Heat units and propane fireplace make the cabin cozy and comfortable. A queen size sofa sleeper with memory foam mattress and accent chairs all overlook the lake through two large bay windows. Corner kitchen offers an abundance of cabinets and island creates additional counter space. Full size refrigerator, electric stovetop, small kitchen appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils make this kitchen complete for preparing meals/snacks and beverages during your stay. An oversized bathroom offers tiled shower and soaking tub-complete with towels and hair dryer. Patio doors exit the cabin onto the deck loaded with patio dining set and gas grill. Stairs from the deck take you to the private stone fire pit complete with camp chair. Boat parking is available. There is a fish cleaning table and freezer availability on site, hiking trail, swingset and horseshoe pit for outdoor entertainment. Feel safe with storm shelter on site. Nothing has been overlooked and with all of the "extras" provided for you, only food, beverage and personal items are necessary to make this your relaxing retreat. Ideal for couples and small families.

Great getaway!

This house was just what we needed for our visit to Eufaula! It was close to town and had everything we needed either in the cabin or down at the storage cabin. It was perfect for our group and our dog loved the hiking trails all around the cabins. Deb was easy to get in contact with and was quick to answer any questions we had!

Great stay !

Modern and comfortable. Very clean! Took Jack, our dog, who loved walking on the trails. Beautiful view of the lake. Relaxing, peaceful as neighboring cabins are separated by woods. Very pleasant place to stay.

Deb and Justin are amazing hosts! We had an amazing time and the boat rental was super fun! We celebrated a birthday and Deb had set up a cute cake and balloons for it! We will definitely be back again!! I can’t recommend these cabins enough! ❤️🙌

Beautiful property/amazing view

This place has an amazing view of the lake which made sitting on the deck in the evening. The layout/design is very unique and works well. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the last 3/4 mile of the road coming in is heavy gravel and at one point it has a steep hill. The road is not motorcycle friendly.

Wonderful Cabin with views of Lake Eufala

If you are looking for a private getaway with beautiful views of Lake Eufala, I highly recommend this cabin. The customer service was outstanding. The property is gated and very secure. If you are planning on cooking, be sure you look at what the kitchen has to offer. I didn't realize it didn't have an oven, so adjusted my meals, but it worked out perfectly. We plan on coming back in May!

Great Getaway

The cabin was the perfect place for our getaway. We especially loved the views of the lake and the deck. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay, including very comfortable beds (which was an unexpected treat)!

Perfect. Just … perfect

I don’t know how to put it more accurately than “perfect.” Deb communicated everything we needed to know in one quick email, and our getaway weekend was absolutely perfect. The cabin (Purple House) is well thought out and well appointed. It’s so clean and modern (WiFi worked great; satellite TV was fine) and yet has a cool rustic touch. Kitchen is loaded with everything you need. The gas grill outside works great. There are ample power outlets for charging phones, camera batteries or whatever. The views out the big picture windows in the living room were — duh — perfect. Stunning. Sunset over the lake was WOW. Views from the upstairs bedroom were less dramatic; the tree outside could use a trim. It was pretty hot (100+) when we were there so we didn’t spend much time outside, but the deck was wonderful and the two AC units kept us comfortable (though they did have to blow constantly). The ceiling fans helped. The bathroom has an individual shower and separate tub but that’s fine because we welcomed both after a day at the lake. Lots of towels, blankets and linens are available in the cabin. A really nice touch waited for us at the marina on Eufaula Lake. Calico Heights properties include free use of kayaks and paddle boards. We enjoyed a relaxing day on the water — rare for us! In the end, our anniversary weekend getaway couldn’t have been better. We wanted quiet seclusion, and that’s exactly what we got. Five stars all the way around. I fully intend to return to Calico Heights, and especially the Purple House. If we do, I know it’ll be perfect!

Cute lakeview cottages

Perfect getaway for a weekend. Enjoyed the lakeview through the huge picture windows or sitting on the deck listening to the birds around and watching boats go by on the lake in the distance. Short 5 minute drive to the marina to rent Deb and Justin's great little pontoon for a lazy day on the lake, what more could you ask for a weekend stay?

Enjoyful weekend

We enjoy staying in the purple cabin for the long weekend. Cabin was clean and well supplied. It was great being able to pay a small fee to have our dog Nova be able to come. we took walks on the trails and she thought she was in Haven. Would stay again but when weather is warmer she we could enjoy being out on the lake in a boat.
