Down East Charm en Pigeon Hill Bay con Wifi

Esta cabaña fue renovada hace unos años ... con todos los electrodomésticos nuevos, desde suministros de cocina hasta ropa de cama, le ofrece una escapada de primera clase.

En mi experiencia, es difícil encontrar un alquiler LIMPIO en estos días ... Les puedo asegurar, nuestra cabaña está impecable y limpia de techo a piso entre cada inquilino.

El entorno es tranquilo y pacífico .......
el océano que se lava a lo largo de la costa ciertamente lo adormecerá y será el primer sonido que escuche en la mañana cuando se despierte. Comience sus días caminando en la costa rocosa disfrutando de las amplias vistas de Pigeon Hill Bay, incluidos los pescadores locales de langosta que arrastran sus trampas a pocos metros de la cabaña. El faro de Petit Manan se puede ver en la distancia y se puede escuchar el cuerno de niebla. Esto es Maine, la forma en que la vida debería ser .....

A solo minutos de la cabaña, disfrute de una corta caminata hasta la cima de Pigeon Hill. Una vez que llegas a la cima, puedes ver millas. ¡Un lugar perfecto para un picnic y excelentes oportunidades para tomar fotos! Si prefieres la observación de aves o un ciervo o un conejo, debes realizar una gran caminata por el sendero Hollinsworth en Petit Manan Point. Mientras esté allí, visite la Capilla All Souls.

Los servicios son dirigidos por residentes locales y se llevan a cabo a las 9 am los domingos.

The cabin was clean and cozy and had just the right feel. We loved the back yard! My kids were out on the beach almost everday looking for seaglass and they found quite a bit. We made friends with a special deer that came to visit us in the backyard as well. Wanda was one of the best hosts we've had! She was very kind and informative! We hope to be able to come back for another visit in the future

This is our second time staying at this house. The property is perfect for a couple, clean, wonderful ocean view, comfortable stay. Unfortunately, we will never stay here again, the property manager sent us numerous text regarding " residual moisture on clean dishes ". This really soured the experience.

A beautiful vacation home!

Our cottage was beautiful, very clean and felt like being home. The area is very peaceful and quiet with a great view of the ocean. Our hostess was friendly and helpful. We loved our visit and most likely return.

Maine Retreat

This cottage was exceptionally clean. It was in a quiet beautiful location on the water a great place to relax. It was the perfect size for the two of us. Hiking trails were just down the road and Acadia Schoodiac was about a half an hour away.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed the property. It was perfect for the two of us, clean, tidy and in a very nice location. The only improvements we would like to see would be a dishwasher and a king size bed, but washing a dish by hand for a week is fine and you can't complain to much about sleeping a little closer to your spouse.

First Trip to Maine

My wife and I wanted to enjoy the Fall weather and the changing of the leaves. Well, we were blessed on both counts—60 degrees and the most beautiful reds, oranges and yellows filled our view. In addition, this little hideaway was serene and somehow management was able to arrange a welcome party of a porcupine and a doe! Simply beautiful!

Pigeon Hill Bay Cottage

My husband and I stayed here early October. The cottage is private and very relaxing. It is a very clean and well-stocked property. The host is easy to communicate with and very responsive. We hiked around Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula, and visited the very busy town of Bar Harbor. We also got the opportunity to ‘Catch our Dinner’ in Corea. There is so much to do around the area but our favorites were Cadillac Mountain, the lobster boat tour and spending time at the cottage, watching the deer (they love the apple trees😊, also seen a porcupine walk by the porch!) and having a campfire by the water. A little bit of a drive to different destinations which we did not mind because we loved the tranquility of the area. We absolutely loved the cottage!

Quaint relaxing getaway

Quiet side of life on the Maine Coast did not disappoint! Plenty of local trails and sites to take in. Beautiful views over morning coffee or evening beverages! Property manager offered many great recommendations and was helpful for any needs. Strongly recommend if you are looking to get away from the tourist crowds, yet still close to explore Acadia and many of the other coastal trails and popular attractions.

Cozy Cottage

My sons and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this little cottage by the sea. We appreciated the private and quiet beachfront setting and the many amenities that the cottage offered. The air-conditioned loft area was the perfect spot for the boys. The cottage was clean and well-maintained. Wanda was a very responsive and helpful host. We were happy to be within an hour of the Bar Harbor/Acadia area and took several day trips to the park, including Schoodic Point. Having a grocery store and good take-out spots only a few minutes away was an added bonus. We were surprised with the wildlife we saw from the cottage: a bald eagle, deer, a rabbit, and “Spike” the porcupine. The puffin cruise 5 minutes down the road was great too. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful spot away from it all!

We had a wonderful time on pigeon road! The house was perfectly appointed and clean and just right for our family of five. It’s right on the water on a cute country lane. Everything about the spot was beautiful and fun. But be prepared to drive an hour to Bar Harbor and the main sites in Acadia. This really is in the middle of “nowhere.” It’s pretty and just right if that’s what you’re after! There are some closer hikes, but we spent most of our time in Acadia/Bar Harbor since we’d never been before and it was a bit of a haul. Wanda is really wonderful. Very communicative, friendly, helpful — and had the house spotless for us upon arrival. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful stay by the sea

This cottage was very clean and well stocked. It's a simple but roomy cottage with spectacular views and relaxing atmosphere. It's close to Acadia and Bar Harbor yet away from the hustle and bustle. Our kids loved exploring the beach in the mornings at low tide and I enjoyed my morning coffee with the quiet lapping of the waves. The stargazing here is overwhelmingly spectacular

Off the road, yet close to town

The property fronts a the bay. Berms on either side provide a sense of distance from the neighbors. Located 5 miles off the main road, its is quiet and pleasant, yet it is less than 15 miles from a village with a restaurant and multiple take-out options. A marvelous getaway!

Wonderful Spot

We have now stayed in Pigeon Hill 3 times in homes managed by Wanda. Every experience has been excellent. The area is so quiet and peaceful. This is the second time for our family of 6 at this cottage, and it works out perfectly for us--the loft is great for the kids (as long as they are careful on the stairs!) And the beach is right out the door. Such a wonderful spot, a perfect cottage for us. Thanks!
