"Cottage was perfectly located and well equipped albeit small for the price. Bathroom great, cosy lounge and well equipped kitchen. Couple of areas needed redecorating. But communication was non existent. Contacted host twice without reply on day of arrival to get the passcode for the keys. Also phone number was for Sykes cottages which was closed. Ended up knocking on doors nearby and finally got to the right person."

Except the main bling in the bedroom opened up but we could not shut it. It was also really dirty and full of dust. The blind in the kitchen was also really dirty, covered in grease and dust too. "Wow! This apartment far exceeded our expectations. Spacious 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom on the top floor with a gorgeous sea view. Elevator opens into the apartment which takes a little getting used to! Well-equipped kitchen, huge dining room and living room with stairs leading down to the second bedroom. Main bedroom on the main level is lovely and very comfortable. Lots of storage allows you to unpack. The living room furniture could be replaced; the cushions are shot and furniture smells musty....

"Beautifully maintained and equipped first floor apartment with plenty of parking spaces on the doorstep. Granddaughter was most impressed with the size of the television screen. Definitely didn't need my glasses on. Well equiped kitchen which meant we didn't miss anything from home. The on site shop supplies essentials but don't rely on it for fresh fruit and vegetables. We had fun creating memories. We loved the walk across the beach to share our bucket full of ice cream at The Beach Cafe. ....

"Lovely place to stay very clean good accommodation very quiet everything you need and parking just off from our stay all well lit and clean a shop on site which is well stocked and some lovely areas to walk around only thing I think lets it down is the on sight bar very expensive and food not very good given it’s central position it should pull in people we have booked for September too so looking forward to coming back to Filey lovely place"

"A very cosy little house. It is in a great location for the North Bay end of Scarborough which is where we wanted to be. It is a short 10 minute walk through a small housing estate down a hill and you are on the beach. The house is really well equipped, with loads of kitchen utensils, it has wifi, a comfy bed, a brand new bathroom, two parking spaces and even a hairdryer. I would definitely recommend"

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Puffin Pad. Clean, well equipped, very friendly owners, we felt we coukd contact them if necessary. Our only grumble was 2 family members rented houses on The Bay that were only very slightly more expensive than the flat but that wouldn't put us off renting it again. Many thanks for a great stay."
