"Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun."

"The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing."

"Wonderful welcome on arrival by the owner, Sue. The room is lovely and big with a large bathroom, it's spotlessly clean everywhere with beautiful decor. There is a little fridge in the room with milk for hot drinks, a nice touch. The breakfast each morning is superb with the best eggs we've ever tasted (from their own chickens). We have already booked for next year at the same time. Highly recommended."

"This was definitely the best accomodation we had during our two week trip of the UK. Fiona and Steve were very welcoming hosts. The historic house is cozy, as is the guest lounge and breakfast room. The lounge is equipped with a quality stereo system, a record player and a large and truly excellent selection of LPs. You can select your breakfest and your music of choice in the evening. Breakfast was very good, too. Our hosts also offered very helpful tips on where to go for dinner or...

"A lovely very old building. Sadly what made it uncomfortable was that the building sits right on the roadside and our room was over the front door area where the traffic made it difficult to sleep. The room was small but the beds were comfortable. A heater was provided in the room as no plumbed in heating. The shower had no power but I guess this is perhaps the trade off with such an old building. The gentleman who checked us in and looked after us for breakfast was great and friendly. ...
