The property and the surrounding area exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room for 8 guys who graduated from Penn State in 1978 or 1979Our hosts were quick to respond to text messages! Highly recommended!

Quiet, Relaxing and Clean as a whistle!

My mother-in-law and sister in law who are from Long Island and have high standards joined us for graduation weekend. They said repeatedly this house is Superb! And it really was! Upon our arrival we were surprised to find the 1st floor decorated for graduation. They also left a card for my daughter, 3 bottles of wine from a local winery which were all very good. Plenty of water, snacks coffee and tea. We were only there from Saturday until early Monday morning. Definitely NOT long enough! The place was spotless. Beds are comfortable. 6 of us stayed and easily room for many more. Bathrooms had plenty of toilet paper, soap, lotion, q-tips and cotton pads. Wifi and tvs all worked like they were supposed too. Wish it wasn't 7 degrees when we were there because we did not get an opportunity to explore any of the outdoors or property. Thank you for the hospitality and making the weekended ectra special!

Farmhouse and Football Fun!

This farmhouse exceeded expectations. We had a large mixed group of alum and MD friends for the MD/PSU game and this farmhouse was perfect for our stay. An incredible space. Hospitality was top notch. The space was large enough for our group and the charming farmhouse felt like home. The house was clean and included everything we needed plus some. The property is unique and welcoming. Hosts were responsive to questions. Located away from the downtown crowds but just a quick uber/lyft ride away. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Great house and location for Penn State

We really enjoyed the home. It was exactly as advertised and was very convenient getting back and forth to the Penn State Campus. It was a great mix of stepping back in time with all the modern conveniences. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. We are looking forward to staying there again when we visit.

Perfect for our family

Beautiful home with generous and responsive hosts

The 8 of us graduated from Penn State around 2012 and came back to watch a football game and spend time together. Samantha and Bill gave very clear instructions on how to find the property and get in. They also supplied coffee, bottled water, and several bottles of wine, which we loved. It was very close to the stadium and downtown - extremely accessible via Uber. We had an issue the first night where we tripped a breaker, so I messaged our hosts in the morning -- Samantha responded within 30 minutes and Bill came out to reset it; by the time we got back everything was perfect and in working order! We had no other issues; everyone loved it here. Having graduated over a decade ago, we really appreciated the close proximity to the bars downtown yet having a quiet place all to ourselves afterwards. Thanks again for having us; we will definitely be back!

Super host

The pictures don’t do the place justice! The house is beautiful. Was not aware it was a horse farm which made it even better. They provided snacks, drinks, and toiletries. A storm came through and knocked the power out for a little. They responded right away and came to flip the breaker for us. 10 out of 10.

Family Vacation

Our 2nd Great Stay!

We had another wonderful reunion of college friends this year. As last year, the home is very clean, very comfortable, very roomy, and very well-equipped. Samantha and Bill are excellent hosts, staying in touch, making certain all is going well and leaving delightful welcome gifts - wine, snacks, drinks and even cinnamon rolls. We highly recommend this home and we are already planning to book it again for our reunion next year.

Great size, convenient location, easy hosts

Entire experience was simple and we loved the house. The space was perfect for our group, and had plenty of amenities. Very friendly welcome letter and goodies provided for us. Plenty of space and the bathrooms were beautifully renovated. Would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend.

2nd Annual College Friends Reunion - this farmhouse is our spot!

Friends living too far from each other (Philly vs. Cleveland) so picked a middle-ground to meet. This house is perfect for the 8-10 of us to get together, visit, eat and just be together. Boalsburg had some great pubs and brewery to check out too. Fabulous farmhouse. Clean. Beautifully decorated and overall fabulous place to stay. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect House/Perfect Host/Perfect Location!

Everything was excellent, from the communication with the host to the house itself! Second time renting this house for my son’s White Out Hockey game and couldn’t ask for a better experience. Only issue was the TV in the main living area was not working. Bill came over first thing I. The morning to try and fix it. Was very nice and gracious, we appreciated the prompt response. Seem to be an issue with TV itself We will be renting again for years to come! Thank you!

Gorgeous home an amazing hosts!

We celebrated my son’s graduation. The communication with Samantha and Bill was always immediate and detailed. When we arrived we found banners, balloons and snacks for the celebration. The house is beautiful, clean, and cozy. We will definitely return!!

Beautiful property easy commute to Penn State

Visited for a college tour and stayed for a football game. Had two families and three teenagers and everyone enjoyed the property. Really easy to Penn State, took an average of 10 to 12 minutes and never encountered any traffic. Beautiful farm house in pristine condition, could be featured in Town and Country magazine. Last, all the beds had high end linens and comfortable bedding.

Spacious & Private Farmhouse

We loved the natural light that greets you in most rooms - windows galore. Room for our family to gather as well as to have own space. Spacious bedrooms. We loved the privacy yet never more than 10 minutes to our State College/PSU destinations. We enjoyed many hours in the large yard. We were appreciative of the generous supply of essentials for daily living. In short, our hosts made our stay wonderful from arrival to check out.

Perfect spot

We had a great stay at this farmhouse with two other families while in town for a sporting event. The house is bigger than it looked online. The kitchen was well stocked. Samantha was a great host and accommodated our group’s needs without question. This is a perfect location for a large family or a group. Highly recommend. We hope to return next year.

Perfect spot for good food, good drink and good company

Central PA is a perfect meeting place for us college friends spread out in Philly, NY, NJ and Ohio. And when I found this luxury farmhouse to host our weekend gathering, I knew it would be a hit. Fantastic set-up for space and gathering of 8 adults. We enjoyed the warmth of both fire set-ups and our beds were SO comfortable. The three full baths were excellent and beautiful. We used the kitchen amenities including new oven to cook breakfast and host a delicious Saturday night dinner. Plenty of plates, silverware and even room for us to do a small little yoga session in the morning. We also appreciated the convenience to Nittany Winery (also recommended). This place was beautiful, clean and exactly what we needed to enjoy our weekend gathering. Highly recommended and quite frankly and awesome farmhouse!

This property was gorgeous both inside and out. My daughter walked the path and came back with some great pictures. Although we very close to State College, we came during a busy weekend and opted to use Uber for transportation which was very convenient. The beautifully decorated home was well stocked with linens, towels, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The owners are very responsive and great to work with. My grandson insists we have to come back for a football weekend. It's in our plan!

Great graduation weekend venue

The property is amazing. Charming, clean, and comfortable. There were 9 of us staying in the house. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. We were having friends of my son and other family over the afternoon of graduation. The day ended up being cold and rainy so we had to have the party in the house. There was plenty of room. I highly recommend this place for any State College event.

Beautiful house and grounds for hosting and entertaining with convenient location to PSU Campus

We booked the house to come with family for a Penn State football weekend. House and Grounds : Beautifully renovated farmhouse. Well maintained. There were lots of areas to explore outside. I went for a nice walk around the grounds exploring the upper pastures. We were a bit early in the season for fall foliage but I can imagine how spectacular the views are during peak season. Parking : Ample space beside the house, driveway on the other side, and then behind the house as well. If you are hosting a large group/party this would be key. Living Spaces: Comfortable large sectional with ottoman in the living room can seat quite a few people. I appreciated the blanket to get cozy! Fireplace adds a nice touch as well. We didn’t use the dining room but noticed the lovely sideboard and the table can seat many. Office downstairs had a nice large table/desk and mounted TV which would be good if someone had to work remotely (WIFI was perfect throughout visit). The sunroom also had seating and a great view. Bedrooms: All were very spacious, bright and airy. Beds were super comfortable. Large closets in each. The upstairs was kind of divided into 2 little wings so that makes it nice for families with kids or 2 families staying together for a bit of separation. Full bathrooms on each side as well as downstairs. Bathrooms were amply stocked with towels. Kitchen: The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials for cooking and hosting. We appreciated the fridge being stocked with bottled waters. Many common cooking items and condiments were available. I was especially delighted to find 3 different ways to make coffee - coffee maker with pot, French press, and espresso machine! Added bonus and nice touch was the bags of ground local coffee. Also available was a hot pot for tea. If you were hosting a large gathering there was ample place settings plus paper goods. Location: Convenient to Penn State Campus and football stadium. Also a short ride to shopping centers for groceries and anything else you would need.
