Paddle out from the dock in the shared kayaks, fish or swim, then grill dinner and end the night at the wood fire pit. Inside: a stocked kitchen, smart TVs, games, a desk and fast Wi-Fi. We live nearby and are always a message away. We usually reply within the hour, and we're happy to share our favorite local spots for dinner, fishing and trails.
Rogers Pond is a quiet stretch of the Muskegon River near Stanwood, with two easy towns nearby. Canadian Lakes, about 15 minutes away, has Hixon's Family Market for groceries, Antlers Fireside Grill for dinner, and great golf: Tullymore (one of Golf Digest's 100 Greatest Public Courses) and its sister course St. Ives. Big Rapids, about 10 minutes away, has Meijer, Walmart, Lowe's and plenty of chain restaurants, plus a fun downtown with local favorites Blue Cow Cafe and Schuberg's Bar. More golf is near Big Rapids at Katke (Ferris State), Falcon Head and Clear Lake. The Fred Meijer White Pine Trail is about a mile from the house: bike it in summer or ride snowmobiles in winter.
-The whole cottage and its private river-view deck are yours alone.
-The yard, dock, fire pit, grill and EV charger are shared with guests at The Barn, a separate rental on the property.

-Pontoon add-on: Spend a day on the water with our pontoon for $75 per day, mid-May through September. It's shared with our other cottages, so reserve early. It has to be reserved before arrival and depends on weather. A signed waiver is required, and anyone born after June 30, 1996 needs a Michigan boater safety certificate to drive it.

-Shared laundry in the tan garage, opened with a door code sent before you arrive
